That being said, my OCD is kicking into overdrive and just have to point out, the light switches are upside down. Up is on and down is off... If this wins I am going to get one, but I may need to up my meds to prevent it from driving me crazy. Well, crazier.

Oh, but that's part of the point. When the switch is on the sheep are up, and when the switch is off the sheep are down. :D

Great drawing- the angles of the arms and legs and the slouching are perfect- and the colors pop, BAM! Nice work.

traildragon wrote:We actually get the most crude oil from canada - and mexico and nigeria each supply us with almost as much as saudi arabia. Nice concept though.

Yeah, I was trying to be more realistic than to just consider the direct sources. The total production of oil is depicted- because oil is sold as a commodity today, it doesn't really matter where you actually buy it from- effectively you buy it from the pool. We buy more from Canada, but that means that more Russian oil is sold to someone else. etc.

I think I'm missing the brilliance people are seeing in this shirt. I understand that it's a graphic depicting the need for coffee. I just think I'm missing something. Maybe I don't drink enough coffee.

klswoot - Thanks! I like putting up the sketch because it's like a test run. Plus, I usually get some great feedback.

jones - I appreciate that. I wish it was getting more votes too. Perhaps it's a little too cartoony? I wonder what I could have done to make this a real winner. I'm still encouraged by the votes that I do get though.

ArchAngelsWings - Thank you!

tigerlillies - This is how I feel in the mornings too. In fact, I feel like this right now. l o l. Thanks for the compliment.

i hope you don't win...

reason: you should sell these shirts to Starbucks! you'd make a killing in their employee shirt program!

I'm all for you making a TON more money.

i also agree. you've already got the starbucks green on there. but if this does win, i can see smaller coffee shops buying these for their employees.

This is a horrible idea! Who would want a navy shirt with a burger made entirely of text?!?!

Re: Pure Energy

You may run into issues with the rule on text. Incidental text is allowed for this derby, but not predominately featured text, which this may constitute. You may need to work this, though perhaps woot may miss it.

Good Luck!

If you're going to remove and resubmit, I guess I'll just say it again... but I voted for your shirt anyways. Who doesn't love a burger shirt.
