But it doesn't matter. None of them were rejectable for the reason they stated. The copyright expired long ago, and it is now public domain, meaning you can use it in any legal way you see fit, as if you had made it yourself, including commercially. There's no justification for these rejections at all. They should have known that, or waited until someone who did know could decide before rejecting 3 shirts out of the top 15, including 2 out of the top 5. Right at the start of the second highest voting rate period in the derby. Even if they reinstate us and give us back the votes we had, which is the least they should do, we can't recoup the exposure we should have been getting at this prime voting period.

I think it would have worked a teeny bit better if it was inverted -- a baby blue background on a cream shirt instead. Great design anyway!

I totally agree. Some of these shirts are just too "out-there" to wear--too bright or too cartoonish. This one is subtle and almost sophisticated, as far as T-shirts go anyway. I hope others are inspired by this one.

This is very clean. I like it. I was going to ask if you thought about turning it horizontal, but then I realized that would make it a "tree ants" shirt if placed high-centered, and just awkward looking placed low. And of course you thought about it. So... nice job. It kinda reminds me of the chinese bagua.

Even given all that I'd still like it better horizontal and centered. Cool design either way though.

Very cool, I have been messing around with Monet's color theory use in his raindrops on the piece titled Water Lilies. Still haven't found a solid design out of it though .
