Wonderbunny wrote:I love the red sun...I think it adds interest to the design as a whole. I also like the Dr. Seuss like trees (at least that is kind of what they remind me of).

Hope you make it to the fog!

Thanks Wonderbunny for your help before the derby started. You and several other wooters were very helpful in offering advice about placement, text, etc. I really appreciate it. I'm glad to see this one getting a few votes too. Thought it might be fun to offer up something a little different.

THanks Raikus and Wonderbunny for the Seuss comment. That's a nice compliment!

Thanks for the votes, everybody! the tan is more like a table top or something. It'd be lovely to be allowed 8 colors for shirts. I had to use three on the box just to be able to tell what it is.

I can't afford to purchase Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, and I prefer to support OSS, so I use The Gimp and Inkscape. This means that I can't open woot's templates - I'll spare you the tech details, but I can't get the adapters for The Gimp to open the Adobe templates. So I use screenshots from the pdf, resulting in color inaccuracy. I tried to work around this issue by using the color from a photo of a baby blue woot shirt. This doesn't necessarily exempt me from being a stupid derbyist, though. How 'bout some benefit of the doubt next time, Adder?

Come on, really? Rejected? This shirt looks nothing like that other shirt. I used a real heart shape, no game pieces, and anatomically correct placement. There's room for two completely different shirts based on the game Operation. Isn't there? Besides, my shirt had a message. The other was just a blow-up of the game board.

Just had to get that off my chest (no pun intended). If anyone wants to balance out this injustice, please vote for my one-legged chicken.

Thanks!

I would like it better without any text

Or maybe just without the temperatures, who cares if you will cook outside if the Godzilla will eat you before you get the chance.

Or maybe replace the Mon. Tue. Wed. etc.. with just M T W

Just my beer and I's opinions ;-)

It's still funny, and so is this shirt. But honestly, I don't think Californians or the rest of the US would consider this an emergency. Property values along the 'new' west coast would go up, definitely be some sort of climate change in Las Vegas, and California would be better than anything Dubai could make.

Sokowa- You know what I love about this one? It looks like the leafy greens are actually pointing to the rabbit to "LEAVE!" I don't know if you intended that or not, but that's how it looks to me. I'm a huge Sokowa fan and this week you did not disappoint. I agree with the other poster. I think you are in a great position for multiple prints this week.
