When I looked at it, my thought was that the turtle pulled the pin, nothing happened, so now he's checking it out. The handle could still fly off, or it could just be a dud, a la Bugs Bunny...

I stopped last week to save one on the road and he didn't make it.

Big truck got to him before I could. (The guy did try to miss it at the last sec.)
