Hey hey - this design contains beer. Does that make it rejection-worthy?

Ok. I want one. I hate the color but I love the art and the comedy and the placement and the expression and the use of color. 1 vs. like 17. Voted.

It doesn't look like it has much of a chance to make it to the fog since it's not muddy line art on a brown shirt.

WeezTheJuice wrote:So hot. That shading technique is nuts.

Amen to that. Since jimiyo may not be stopping by to answer questions... When this first appeared did anyone ask him whether the shading was a fill or not? I'm almost positive it's not, due to how non-patterned it appears, and knowing his tenacity for such details in his other works of art. But I figured I'd bring it up because If it is an available fill it'd be cool to experiment with in my free time.

Re: 1970 - USSR performs an underground nuclear test

I love the design of this shirt, but I think blue was a poor color choice. Blue is just to calm to depict a nuclear explosion, it doesn't fit, but it's still cool!

This is awesome. Is it on black or navy? For some reason I can't tell.

It's like a custom halftone... craziness. If it's a fill, I would bet that jimiyo designed the fill himself.

Another brilliant design that I remember well and still love. I hope to get at least one Edgar from all this, but, truly I love them all. The colors and the intricate detail on this are incredible.

I don't think dsladek has resubbed even a single design. The Harvester was in the Energy derby, yes.

Re: Things are tough all over

This is one of my favorite woot shirts ever. I hope this gets printed this time around. But I think it would be better and more relevant if the ATP sign was placed right by the mitochondria so it looks like the mitochondria is selling ATP to the organelles which are driving by to fuel up. Maybe Im just picky.

This important molecule is produced and broken down for energy during metabolic processes in every living thing on the planet. Without it, no life can occur. Kinda vacuums that the price keeps going up...
I would love to see this place! gmv

Thanks Boni! I haven't been able to really check out this derby because of a training thing at UT in Austin, so I appreciate you posting my old description. You know you have the best job ever when you get paid to go play with Legos for a week. If any woot staff are paying attention, you guys really have to sell Lego's NXT Mindstorm kits...so much fun.

Hehe. Somebody said the same thing in the energy derby. Somebody else argued back that the cell was like a gas station and the mitochondria are the individual pumps. As long as you like it and voted, I'm happy.
