Pretty cool, but it kind of looks like it might have more than 6 colors. Not sure how well it would print/if they can print it. Gets my vote though.

Ahhhh... earthart. I always seem to be just a tad too late when I reply to you. (Lost internet access for a short time due to Hurricane Hanna most likely.) Yes. I thought you were planning to keep both designs up for vote for a few hours to see which one garnered more votes. Some folks do that since you have 24 hours to pull one. But, you'll know this for next time, right?

Now, having said that I think this is a beautiful, and WEARABLE design, I will take this opportunity to say something that I have been holding my tongue on for some time now. There is one particular artist who often submits his works here. I do not care to mention names, which is why I never commented on any of his designs directly. I believe that his designs are VERY original, and extremely detailed, but the way he portrays them is, well, childish. I never understood why he zooms up into the fog every single time. His designs are interesting, as in I spend time looking at them (with interest), but I would never ever buy one. I have very similar quality drawings all over my fridge, drawn for me by my children, my nieces, nephews... well, you get the idea.
Now THIS design of yours I certainly would buy and wear. True the IDEA might not be "original" but it is very very well done. I hope it does well, and I would buy it were it to win. Please keep submitting designs!

I posted this before I saw what a bunch of other people said, and after having read that, I can see their point. It did not strike me at first, though. Her expression is WONDERFUL! and the design is beautiful. Maybe they are right, maybe you should try it with a little color, to make her look a little less flesh toned. I'm just not sure.

this ain't preschool. people are going to be blunt. it's teh intranets and you're working with designers (i think we can all honestly confess to being snobbish when it comes to things we think are "bad design" or don't play by the same rules as we did) who are all in competition with each other. did you really think people were going to tip-toe around and NOT attack each others' designs?

i would like it better if the figure were to blend into the shirt more (which, who can tell with on screen appearances?) and possibly have a couple of layers of highlight to it in reaction to the fire. the very flat shape of the person distracts me a lot from the fire.

would love to see the interior of the pineapple's mouth as we do on the coconut and some black lines added into the other colors (the green of the leaves and the brown of the huts) to give it more unity.

Sorry, certainly didn't mean to offend anybody, I did change the style, simplified it a bit and used the blue color to give it that blacklight effect, so it looks more like paint than a tattoo. I thought that would be enough, but apparently not. It's more along the lines of immitation being the best form or flattery... monkey see monkey do ;)
