I like the idea, but the drawing could be better. The screen just looks like a big black box. Maybe if you put some grey shading around the edge to make it shiny and come off the page, that would help get some more votes.

Really love the design on this one, but i do agree that it does need some tweaking. Brown shirt would definitely help. And, just brainstorming some more ideas, maybe you could like do a hole in the tree showing an owl peeping out or maybe a robin hood's hat hanging from an arrow or something. I dunno.
Either way it's GMV. If it gets Re-subbed i'll totally vote for that too.

While I get that this design is outside the printable area, I'm confused by the "not incidental text", since in the description of the derby, it is stated very clearly that "Incidental text only. A nametag or logo is fine as one element of a larger design. "This Shirt Is My Pirate Costume" is not."

so, just under what conditions would a nametag be allowed, if this one is not?

I normally don't like it as well, but most escaping cons would have easy access to heather gray t-shirts. I was planning on putting words across the shirt, like "Cleveland State Athletic Department" but figured that wouldn't be incidental text. Took forever to get the pattern for the orange jumpsuit to match.

Wow, this is going up fast! Congrats Blam!! I really like how you chose brown instead of black.

Well, for once I %100 agree. When I was scaling around to make the actual shirt examples, I had to resize them more than once and they got pretty skewed. I apologize again to everyone for that. My intention was really just to have the belt sit a little bit lower. Either way, when I get off work today, I will try to post a better picture to illustrate the placement.

And also, as far as the extra detail goes, I feel you for sure. I wanted to do more, but take a look at the submission times for both of my designs and you'll no why I didn't keep going with it. I spent way too long on the alien if you couldn't tell.

Either way, by the looks of things I don't think it has a realistic shot at getting printed. I wouldn't mind having two in the fog. That would be awesome!

I'm not sure if resubs are allowed on this one... or ever... but this is one I did a while back and thought it had a place here.

I realize that a fog entry has a similar idea... but I didn't copy it. This was existing art from nearly a year ago. However, those who won't wear gore may appreciate this one.

Hey i like it. The alien looks more cutesy, than the evil blood soaked monster bursting from your chest of other designs. That may put some people off, but it's GMV nonetheless.
