Re: To the Top in the Style of Da Vinci

I really like the artwork on this. I'd like it more on a poster though. when you get the rights to reproduce please let us know, I'd love to get a poster.

I. Love. This. This is my favourite entry of the derby, and as for the text thing, seeing as you can't read it, and it is an important part of the art style, i think you should be ok. Congrats on the great design!

Re: NES controller in cubism/De Stijl

I'm not a real art student or anything, so correct me if this isn't cubism or de stijl.
And also, sorry for the asphalt. No other color worked well.

This is one I'd wear. It's really understated (in a good way).

Re: Dangerous Creature in the style of Durer

So I know everyone is probably Marioed out, but I started this last night with the plan to finish it at lunch today. Little did I know there would be a little entry by Kdeuce that would make it completely irrelevant. It was too far along to scrap, so feel free to vote or disregard as you see fit.

I really love the style of this one- great job! I too, would be partial to the cream shirt, but white is ok.

Did look at some reference pics for the outfits and hieroglyphics, but otherwise it's all new.

Skek- I love it!

Hieroglyphics is definately an art form! I have a friend who's walls art is all Hieroglyphics.

Thanks SS for my new togs!

IndependentVik wrote:I have mad respect for your skill, Boots, but it had been awhile since I'd seen a design of yours that I, personally, would wear. This, this is excellent! Love the colors, the art style you're aping, and the subject matter. This game used to crack me up back in the day

In for one if it wins and GMV.

Wow. Thank you. And everyone else too. Your comments are so nice. It feels good. And it's good to feel good.

And byrbwr, you don't know what you're missing. It was a great game (you know, in ancient time when videogames were all new and horrible looking and fantastic). Although, if you tried to play it now for the first time, the magic might not be there.

Re: Heroic Battle In The Style of Black Figure Pottery

I'm taking a Greek history class right now so I had to do this design as a black figure pottery painting.

I also have a dark monitor, apparently. What color shirt is it on?

and, btw, great job, TG!

I love this design, Sokowa, but I will hold back my vote for it on this color, as I know I wouldn't wear a cream colored shirt. I think the cream would look stunning on the cranberry shirt if you decide to submit it.

Great design!!

Black shirt. Let me post a brighter version. Disregard the design colors and brightness changing, this is just to show the placement on darker monitors:

Re: POSTAL in the style of Jackson Pollock

Don't you remember playing Postal back in the late 90s? It was the most controversial game of its time....nothing but shooting, flame guns and blood splattering everywhere.
