Well, I think you should resub this later. I love this design! Don't know if I agree with it being rejected as the supposed "filled in" parts are only increases in thickness of the line.

This lion is really well done. It actually reminds me of a design I did last spring (not for a derby, don't worry), I can't believe I didn't think of doing this! Anyway, looks great! But I would much prefer it on a different color shirt. Still GMV.

I LOVE the idea, but I think it would be more successful if you had taken a less cartoony approach to the hands and feet. regardless, it GMV.

Did you come back thinking things had changed or just enjoy the challenge? I certainly hoped the latter. I believe the definition of insanity parallels with coming back to the derby producing an artistic, wearable shirt, and expecting it to get the votes to print. I'm not sure where cute cat pics fall into the definition, but I am certain they don't stray to far away.

If you want to actually compete, I would suggest trying to find a surgeon to do a lobotomy for $1000, so you can at least break even. Kill the spirit, motor skills, and ability to function in society and even you could be #1 on the woot charts. Good Luck!!!!!

(Think of it this way, you are at least beating MY entry.)

Thank you, breckenedge. I don't see anything wrong with submitting a very sharp and simple shirt design for the Derby. I like to come up with design ideas that would wear well on a T-Shirt and that people might want to buy for themselves or for others. This would look great on the kiddos too
I realize, however, that there are some FANTASTIC artwork designs in this derby, so I can completely understand the frustration.

Based on some feedback and just wanting to add something else to it, I did a resub. Added some extra detail, changed positioning and adjusted line colr.
