They were just end caps on the line style. If they reject it I may resub, but I think it is fine.

Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee (Tom Cruise): I think I'm entitled to them.
Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth!
Jessep: You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

Thanks! I actually tried a couple of things like that, but in the end, I liked the way the beginning and end lines are the butterflies antennae. I also thought it worked well with the concept: butterfly : egg : caterpillar : repeat...

I'm glad you decided to enter something. The owl is great, but the title is even better. I entered something too, despite being burnt out. I'm way to anal to let a derby slip by. I will now vote for your owl.

It's funny, but it didn't. I was burnt out before I did this. I spent the least amount of time on this design ever. Weird, huh?

My first woot shirt ever! I submitted two versions of it though, this is the black one, the other is a black line on a yellow shirt.

I was confused where the line began and ended the first time I saw this and searched for the beginning quite a while. I think you ended up with a very good place to start/stop.

I would wear this one happily. I loved me some barrel o' monkeys when I was little (although, I'm not sure why. It's a kind of boring toy, now that I think about it).

I know why, it's because they are monkeys. Everyone loves monkeys... I'm not sure what the point of the game even was, but i spent hours linking and unlinking those monkeys.
