Re: Noah's Ark

Ramy, I love this and voted. It is my favorite so far and my family loves Gen 6-9. I would by two for my kids and one for myself, and maybe even create another account and buy more. I would really like to see it printed. If not this derby, then I'll hope for an EC or an HM for another chance in the next Double-Take. Good luck

I'd like it better if there was more contrast between shirt and design colors.

That's because you're a dope.
Hehe. Just Kidding! Actually, there are no line ends in the nose. Trust me, I checked like 40 times to make it a real unbroken line.

The topic is "One Continuous Line", so off-topic would mean that it isn't one continuous line. I'm too lazy to trace it to make sure (the artifacts on the comp would make that difficult anyway).

It's a very creative reuse of something that is instantly recognizable, good job with the text.

I think many entries would benefit from having text name included, without needing to do it with the one line. It would bring focus to the one line concept. For instance having "Lineage" on this one would highlight the cleverness

Signature oh signature, cannot think
of something clever...

I'm really pulling for this design, artulo. Here's hoping you get your xmas miracle

This is one continuous line, I drew it in illustrator with the pen tool. It has a calligraphy brush stroke to it.

the line starts in the bottom right and ends in the upper left in the hat. I spent a lot of time making sure that no line overlapped or crossed when i changed the brush to calligraphy.

In that case, you were most likely rejected erroneously. It might be that the rejectionator thought he saw a mistake somewhere. Unfortunately, there's "no way" you can get unrejected and keep your votes. I put "no way" in quotes because you actually could be unrejected, but Woot has only ever done that once and it stirred up lots of controversy. Lots.

I guess you could take solace in the fact that, hey, at least you weren't wrongly rejected from the fog - it's happened before.

Better luck next time!

So true. Ever other derby there is an NES shirt (not that i'm complaining, i love those too) but you never see any SNES shirt, which is a shame because imho, SNES one of the greatest consoles of all time.

Many of the woot artists will post their design ideas to the discussion topic once it's revealed on thursday at noon, to receive critiques and whatnot before the actual derby opens on friday at noon. Getting your design submitted quickly is important.

I like the witty shirts, and this definitely falls in that category. GMV

Indeed. There has been little to no actual response to the issue on the part of woot. This probably won't make us get one, but it is hardly an issue worth just letting go, even as purely a consumer.
