Re: From the Ashes
I do enjoy the design, just wish it was placed in another spot on the shirt. More towards the right side with it coming up across the chest. Regardless good job and GMV :P
Re: Walking the Line
Every time you submit more than one shirt, I end up really liking the one that does horribly. I think this one is fabulous.
Re: Here They be Monsters
It's amazing what people can do with a single line, pretty amazing.
Re: rise again
sweet sweet!
I would proudly support the man in black... this shirt is a must have for any Cash fan.
There are many, many highly detailed, painstakingly detailed shirts here. This is not one of them. But it is hilarious. I totally have to show my wife.
Re: go fish
I think this is one of the best. It looks great.
Much more interesting phoenix than usual.

Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

I realize I repeated the word "detailed."
Re: Argyle... the Hard Way
I'd wear it and I love the title.
phoenixgirrl wrote:very cool design, but way too far outside the printable area
Yea, going to be rejected for size. But I like it.
I love that you used a fire color for your phoenix, i really love the linework, too. gmv for sure!
Re: Aliens
Not sure I'd wear an aliens t-shirt, but I give you credit for the way you drew the aliens. I really like it.
Welcome to hillarity! Def GMV!
Re: Not a picky eater
Okay, so after seeing everyone else's entries, I'm glad I didn't have *two* no effort submissions. : ) (see 'surprise! you found carrots!') This took so long. I have no idea how you guys do crazy detailed things overnight. Also, I know that explaining entries sort of defeats the purpose...but if anyone wants to know, I was trying to imply that he was about to eat his own bait antennae. He's not a very picky eater...at *all*. But get from it what you will! Hopefully something good?
Awesome drawing, great color choice. Well done!
Love it. It's a great illustration.
Whoa!
Re: Owl
nicely done. I think I'd like it more if it were smaller though..
Re: Tied to This World
Some of us are born to play our roles in life, and some are just born to play. It is the rare occasion when the two paths cross, merging into one continuous procession of 8-bit perfection. While this controller knows no life beyond the confines of his home base, he happily serves as ambassador between reality and unbridled imagination.

Thx! I am glad at least one other person likes it
Re: Birds on a Line
this is cute..kinda reminds me of that one pixar short..for really no good reason either :P
hott. excellent use of the line width variation
BootsBoots wrote:Whoa!
Thanks. Whoa indeed. Hand done in illustrator with the pencil tool. I'm not good enough with a pressure sensitive calligraphy brush yet for varying line widths.
Re: Air...Oh
this is really neat..but is it within the bounding box? hopefully..
Re: Resist
mmm..electric..
This is beautiful. I hope you had a nice hand-soak after this one. : )
It reminds me of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Awesome job!

Actually I'm working (or pretending to work ha ha) on a second entry. Time for hand soaking later!
The line begins at the bow and continues unbroken or crossed until the armpit :D The design uses the following photographs: http://carolinapino.net/cellist.jpg http://www.courtlanemusic.com/blog/uploaded_images/quartet-758909.jpg I hope everyone likes it! Please leave any comments.

Nice work Jimi! Sounds like a fun derby this week. I like how this one looks on the light blue shirt. Good luck! kristen
This is so lovely! I love the two little birds sitting on his balance pole. I would buy this most definitely. : )

Derek - This is a fun one. Great job collaborating with Zenne. Good luck to you both! kristen
Re: Burnt Out
Goodness gracious, Boots. HOW did you churn this out so quick? I love it. The detail is crazy.
I thought this might be yours TG! I like it! Nicely done! kristen
A winner for shore. Beautiful work. I love that the lines are angular, kind of warbly, and varying in thickness. Not to mention, I have a weakness for owls. Would buy it in an instant.
