I like how everything jumps out at you. The bright blue birds against the black tee and the cool shading of the tree.

I feel like I should rebuke you for calling one vote useless; you're making me feel very unimportant and insignificant.

It's useless because it's a meaningless vote. If someone clicks the 'I'd want one' button, it should mean that they like the design enough to actually want it. Therefore, the vote total should be representative of the interest level of the Woot community in the shirt, and a fake vote doesn't tell me anything or help me in any way.

Out of all of the entries in the derbies, yours are always the ones I want to print (and then I get bitter when they don't!)
But then your new entry cheers me up again, so I guess that's good- right?

Ps: I really love the creepy looking birds

Thanks in advance, your BFF, CarpoMarx.

ah well... its cool. the ones winning are actually pretty quality. better than what i remember last year. and this one frankly took me less than an hour to make so... i dont expect to win 1000 for an hours worth of work. it was more fun. trying to make cute faces is moderately interesting. :D

ill try to put up my non winning woot shirts somehwere.. zazzle, cafe press whatever, if i ever get around to it. id like to wear a basement cat myself so...

AdderXYU wrote:I actually quite like this

I have to admit, this was quite surprising to see from you, Patch. I had heard some talk as to this concept and didn't foresee it coming it out like this. I think, to stay with the antique feel, I would have tried to work with a different palette instead. Browns on creme, or cremes and neutrals on brown. I know, I know.... those colors aren't as loved as asphalt. But I think that would be the only change I would have made. I'd lean towards cremes and neutrals on brown for a piece like this, but all in all, it works in the current palette just fine.

I'm in the same place as the people who don't like Disney and think that the big paper in the middle wouldn't feel too good on a t-shirt, HOWEVER I want to give you props on the artwork. You did an amazing job, especially with the color limitations. It's really great.
