I won't lie -- this is probably the best art I've seen from you yet.

However, I can't imagine wanting to actually wear this thing. It might make a decent desktop wallpaper or somesuch, but on a shirt? There's just no way. It's gigantic, the focus of the piece would be around your belly, and did I mention that it's way too big?

Kind of agree. The work and detail here is all very cool. Just don't see it as a great shirt.

Great picture, but I couldn't wear it because it would draw attention to my stomach. I'm fit and in shape, I just don't want people looking at my belly.

Nice design but I can't get it because the Queen of Spades doesn't have a weapon. Look at some cards - she's always armed. Would have helped the design in this case.

People have been on you to give us something different, something new, and you've done that. Props for branching out and getting down with a new look.


I really do like this design. Just one critique: I don't think the balloons needed the little arms reaching for each other. I think heartbroken expression towards each other would have encapsulated what the balloons are feeling.

This looks really cool! I wonder what a left-aligned placement would've looked like? (i'm generally not a huge fan of hearts on shirts, but i think this is abstracted enough from a typical heart that I'd consider wearing it for real.

I hand drew everything brand new, I don't know what you are referring to but I can assure you the design and idea are original

I've always stated that if I had a problem with ramyb it was that all of his stuff was in the same style, which I also happened not to like (personal preference). I don't believe he's a cheat--I'd need some kind of proof.

This is a great design, Boots and Ramy. I never would've thought I'd see a collab between you two, but your styles meld together surprisingly well. The design feels really organic to the shirt; everything seems to belong. I especially like the use of shadow on the children.

Sorry for the heat you're taking on this one, Boots. I take you at your word that you wouldn't design with someone you thought was cheating.

I think the point is that she's opening her blouse? And the queen of hearts is covering up.

I think this shirt takes a lot of risks. There's a departure from OBVIOUSLY funny things (ie: if you don't get it in like, half a second). And the obvious: it's on white.

I don't know how much room there is for showing off good execution, if the intention was to recreate the style of a playing card. I think it's done successfully. I think it would've been just as effective as lineart, too. :o
