man, finally a shirt I actually like and it sells out before 3am... Are only the ugly shirts still going to be available when I wake up?

You can buy the shirt tomorrow for $15 if you still want it. Here is the link: http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=8168

I think a lot of people are against this design for the wrong reasons.

The point of shirt design is not to be artistic in the same way that a painter or a writer is artistic (though they certainly can and do overlap). The point is to produce something that someone would want to wear. You can go for specific demographics, as this one does, or a more general public audience, but either way, you are pandering to a public of some kind. This shirt does what it is supposed to do: it produces a product and a catch that people are willing to pay for. And it is well proven that popular humor sells. Not everything has to look good on a canvas as well.

I'm fine with it. No, its not my favorite design and no, I don't think its incredibly witty. But it doesn't have to be. There is no minimum high-brow marker you have to reach before you get on the ride. That's OK.

I agree. I laughed out loud when I saw this in my RSS reader. As someone who struggles with exercising, this was relevant and funny! Especially with the comment someone made about this dinosaur being closest an overweight Giganotosaurus (he's overweight because of people like me with low motivation).

He who dies with the most toys is STILL dead!

You think fat people are gonna walk around advertising that they don't work out?

Californians can woot the new shirts at 10 PM before they go to bed, but Ohioans have to stay up until 1 AM to do the same.

svengoolie, I hate to tell you, but if you don't know that us fat folks advertise the fact that we don't work out, ever time we enter a room...it doesn't make a %*@! what we are wearing. I say at least wear a cute shirt that shows you have kind of sense of humor about yourself. Life is too short to be such a freaking drag!

A stick figure running from a T-rex? Maybe if the stick figure was well-rounded (like me), then I'd buy it.

Congrats on the design, though.

It's an overwhelmingly bad shirt.

My guess is the discrepancy comes from most wooters who bought one not remembering how to use a keyboard. Or else having theirs shorted out by their own drool
