Yay! Glad this one won. It's gorgeous, and a breath of fresh air from the cuteness as of late.

I'm glad the site troubles were fixed - I was stuck mid-order for a while!

I bought this shirt due to the pretty pattern. Most people won't even get the connection to Firefly, and I like that. I like being subtle.

I love this one. Had my eye on from the very beginning.

Hmmmm....now if I just had something for Serenity.

The halftones in the comp look really good. I'll be interested in seeing photos of this design, both for the halftone glory and the low placement. I hope it turns out well.

Maybe she prefers to not be known? Less pressure/expectations.

Does anyone know if this is actually going to print at the bottom of the shirt, or if it will print at the "fake" bottom (which for WS is right over my belly )

I will probably get one anyway, but I just bought the teefury for today, so I will at least wait until tomorrow. xD

If only Malcolm Reynolds face was on the back. Oh well, I suppose I'll get it anyways. It will make a nice top to my tight brown pants.

Huh.

Well, if she didn't want to be known, she wouldn't have given woot the link to her blog. It says on her blog that the username is luciernaga is Spanish for firefly.

Congrats to Zenne, then. I wouldn't have recognized this as one of yours.

Buy 2. Iron-on one of them (2nd is a spare in case something goes horribly horribly wrong).

It is a different style for her but I don't consider that a bad thing. I call that range.

As for placement...who can ever tell. And it's odd to me that the screen for all the all the kids sizes and all the women's sizes is always the same. Designs must be huge on the smallest kids size!

Great design, looks good on black, but the placement is a deal breaker for me. Congrats on the print though. Too bad about the server heart attack.

Not winning = likely failed experiment; winning = super page impressions. XD

That's a pretty good idea actually. At 10 bucks, I wouldn't mind experimenting a bit.

This is awesome in that a Firefly reference shirt won the derby. Sweeeeet! I will not be buying however...looking at it closely it makes me think of the fires that so often occur over on the West Coast, and other places...it's really sort of morbid and depressing. I'm also not sure about the placement, but I would give it a chance if it were a design I liked and would want to wear, period. Just my two cents, as usual! Congrats to the artist!!

Anyway...I kept coming back to this shirt all week so I knew I had to get it. Grats Zenne/luciernaga! I debated only because of the placement but I think I can pull it off. My first bottom placement.

My nerd-fu perhaps is weak, because I get the references in the shirt description an all, but I don't really get "Firefly" from the design. It is really quite stunning, regardless.

Shouldn't the colour description be: Out Into the Black?

Not a fan of the design, sadly. The writeup, though, is pretty fantastic!

I agree there's no obvious connection...but for some reason, the design DOES scream FF to me. I can't pinpoint it, but it's there. Like some underlying archetype.

I really like the shirt but I'm not sure about the placement. It makes me think I'm just wearing a plain black shirt if the design isn't in the center.

A $10 black shirt, with a nifty surprise for those lucky enough to notice...;)

It's actually nice and subtle, something more geeks should go for more often I think...(Not that I don't love the in-your-face geek reference shirts too...) You know, for when you want to look "nice" for a lady or something...hahaha. I gotta stop dating geeks...

So shiny, it caused a massive lensflare, blinding the server maintainer, who in turn slumped over his duty.

Oh yeah, nice shirt. :D
