Re: Raindrops Keep Fallin'
Great song reference and nice composition.
re: cherry pi
Oh I get it! That's cute.
Re: Pink Freud - Dark Side of the Mind
Why was this design deemed as "off topic"?
Re: A Delicious Melody
Love the frogs!
Re: Sounds like Treble
Wow! Inspiring design!
wizzdingo wrote:Oh, and I dont think white shirts get voted for too often. I think White and Yellow are typically avoided. Something you might want to look into (shirt color of past winners that is)
Ahhh who knew? Thanks very much for tips! I appreciate them!
Re: Playing (with) Music
Thank you all for your feedback... Now working on the 2nd version of this design.

Do it up! Glad to help!
Re: right round
like a record? right round, right round?
Re: One Note Wonder
were you in a room all by yourself with no other possible inspiration when you thought of this? It is fabulous!
Re: Chibi Kaeru Music Tie (Collaboration)
Knertz, rejected. Partner, would you consider working it up again and add the musical notes. I can see your point of view that frogs in of themselves are musical creatures, but not everyone has that point of view. It would be a shame to see our combined effort on this one lost.
davengvar wrote:This is cute. I love how the musical instruments - it almost seems like they have personalities (the cello even almost seems to smile).
Thank you! I like to think they are 2 friends/co-workers arguing over the semantical merits of something or other!
This is awesome. I think it needs more explosion where the two beams meet, but I'd buy one anyway.

That was the first thing I thought of. I just want to play on my pan pipes... I just want to drink me some beer... As soon as we're born we start dying, So we might as well have a good time. Sheep go to heaven, Goats go to hell!
Re: Sunset Serenade
Love frogs...
Thanks for all the kind comments. Honestly I'm not really sure what the ipod hate is about - if you want to consider it a Zune, that's fine. They look very similar anyway, and there are not the signature white ipod headphones, so this could really be any media player of this generation. (would it help if I increased the screen size?) :p I don't have any preference for ipods over anything else, and I don't think the shirt advocates ipod use; I just feel like we're beyond the point where I can draw a CD player and have it still be relevant. :p
I love your unique style!
Re: Playing (with) Music [Take2]
Decided to do changes on my first entry with this title, based on the comments and feedback recieved. The idea behind this design is that today, in a lot of music genres that are based on the use of samples and loops, creating and playing music is like playing with building blocks.
New version submited... You can find it here: http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=29882
Thanks for the compliments! Was hoping to get a few more votes with this one... i guess try, try again, right? thanks again for the votes and nice comments.
Re: Air Band (stick figures on chalkboard)
I like your chalk effect.
koronae wrote:Hey Adder, I think this might get more votes if it had tiny round empty soulless white eyes. But that could just be me. Or maybe if it was just a tiny bit more.. shiny? ;] I had to revisit this and comment again, it still makes me giggle.
I also agree with this... His eyes have too much expression and feeling... If you could make it more in the line of the soulless, paralytic, animal racers, it could easily get into the fog!!
this is a really cool concept. gmv
I like some of the elements of this shirt but the missing jaw really bugs me.
Re: Unplugged
Really nice illustration and concept... Great work!!
Thanks everyone! TheTrevinator, your post made me laugh heartily. :P
This is, of course, one of the best designs out here. Wonderfully whimsical. *want* and voted
This shirt is most definitely one of the best! Lets get this one into the fog!
I just want to add a general statement - criticism and insult are not mutually exclusive. As artists we have to listen to our audience. RadioMode it would be wise to take in the emotional reactions people are having to the colors you selected, instead of being offended. Color selection is critical and you have selected a very "pretty, bright" color pallete...not to mention you used butterflies which in most societies have a strong female association. Personally, I am female, and while I like feminine designs, I really don't like the bright colors and yellow tee shirt. A few subtle tweeks to the color scheme and perhaps a different color tee and this design could have reached new levels of sophistication...and perhaps could it have been a unisex shirt. I really don't think anyone is trying to tear you down here, your design is well executed and obviously people are voting FOR you. Listening to your voting audience will only improve your future performance.
Re: Wizard Guitar Duel
I can't believe this one isn't in the top 4!!! If this shirt ever gets made, I'll buy 2!!!!

I voted for this shirt and will definitely be buying it, though to be fair, it really looks like an ipod. i use an ipod, so i don't particularly care, but its just got that specific look to it.
Re: Music Pirate (resub)
eeeh. pirate + charcoal + not really music? = meh.
Re: Electronica
Sorry to use such colloquial language, but this shirt is sick. I can't believe you used only six colors.... And a happy +1 to you sir.
This is ridiculously immature.
Re: ShirtRoll'd
I don't want to admit that this is the most brilliant shirt in the derby, but I'm having a very hard time convincing myself otherwise. So... congratulations?
Re: High Fidelity
Whoa, a derby entry that actually has a substantial message? Imperialism is a great subject for critique, and this is a great illustration to boot. Kudos.
Re: Music is Life
Nice design.. could anyone tell me what software is used to design these shirts. Or put me in the right direction on what to use or how to get started. Thanks. e-mail me if possible, if not then post here, thanks again drunkenalien@hotmail.com
what software did you use for this design. How do you get the texture and edges like that. thanks drunkenaline@hotmail.com
this is one of my favorite designs so far! I don't think it's doing that well because of the shirt color and the box around the image. with a little editing it would stand a better chance! nice idea! =D
Not even close to that: http://store.glennz.com/rockmeamadeus.html This is inspired by the London Calling cover.
