Riley with woot's customer service wants me to check with my neighbors. I emailed back, again said I GOT THE PACKAGE. He again wants me to again check with my neighbors. Maybe his English is not so good. Can't understand the concept that Woot messed up. Anyone have an idea how to get these idiots to understand that I got the package. There is no reason to check with my neighbors to see if they know where my package is because it is here. That there was only one shirt, not two. I just want a refund for the shirt that did not come. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

they send one shirt per package! calm down! i'm sure there is a completely logical explanation to why you only got one shirt. like it was eaten by a capuchin monkey.(did i spell that right?)

If you buy more than one, USUALLY they come in the same bag (up to 3). It's wholly possible that for one reason or another, it didn't get stuffed in the bag and/or it didn't get sent. Either way, the customer has the right to ask for their money back for the shirt. I doubt they will refund the shipping as the other was delivered overnight as requested. In their best interest, I think woot should, but I'm simply noting that they may not refund that.

Be that as it may, as the customer, it's better to keep your cool, rather than toss an attitude about, lest you don't want any resolution to the situation. I've had misprinted shirts, missing shirts, and I've dealt with customer service like human beings. Maybe that's why I don't get the evil hand from them. You will always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

actually i've gotten more than 1 shirt in a package before. the question is if you got 1 or 2 tracking numbers. 1 number = 1 package. if you only got 1 number, then 2 shirts should have been in the 1 package.

Thought this was a delightfully funny shirt, and LOVE it on the heather grey! While I thought it was adorable, didn't really think it was something I would wear, However, the gentlemen in my life (husband and son) have each requested one, so guess we'll be 'in for two' LOL

With all due respect, you'll forgive them having guns, shades, grenades, and scuba gear, but not the fact they have ears?

Really?

Some people have even had more than one tracking number for just one shirt.. heh! go figure..

I've had only positive experiences with customer service.

In 2005, there was 30,694 gun-related deaths versus 43,443 vehicular-related deaths. Not that much of a difference. Now, if there were less drunk-driving idiots, that number would be way down. Alcohol = more dangerous than guns.

And I'm fine with weapons being held on non-human animals.

Those sound like "test" charges to your card, and not actual charges.

Wrong again actually...the rank was left on the collars when these Navy SEALS Retired, joined the NRA and picked up the uniforms from the local Military Surplus store...happens all the time!

I am in the Air National Guard and work in a special operations unit, though I am not a snake eater myself, I am their IT guy. But I don't think any of them would be offended by this, they probably wouldn't wear it because they are Combat Controllers not SEALS ( www.125specialtactics.com ) but they would think it was funny. Anyone that is offended by this and is not or never has been in the military can stuff it as far as I am concerned. You know what offends us? This - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UMP3AK5jwo

To all you folks who say this shirt has got sea lions on it - yes, that is true. The animals on this shirt are clearly sea lions. However, sea lions are seals. Together with the fur seals, they comprise the Otariidae family, collectively known as eared seals.

BTW, I work for a SEAL command. I bought a shirt. It is Not Disrespectful. I love the tattoo, glasses, snorkle, shark's tooth necklace, etc. I can't wait to wear it for PT!

I am a old Navy Diver hard hat not BUDS the shirt is great. I see no issues at all. I was a mud diver for years the shirt is just a fun shirt. Keep it light.

But I'm sure that Woot would love it if you told all of your friends, and if they told all of their friends. Viral marketing and all that.

Up until right now there have been 49 comments on this t-shirt.

Note that this is my 1st comment on this site.

However, I have bought a bunch of t-shirts on this site.

Let me get to the point.
And I'm sorry for the lack of levity.

Up until right now there have been 49 comments on this t-shirt.

I've read everyone one of them.

Lots of you are commenting on the difference between Seal Ears and Sea Lion Ears.

Some of you mentioned the Somali situation these last few days.

Some of you would rather see the t-shirt in a different color.

I'm not in the Navy, so I'm not a Navy Seal.
I'm not in the service at all.

But I'm an American.

And I think that the Woot T-Shirt today is very, very disrespectful to our Armed Forces.

I would put trained seals at the level of circus clowns (re: entertainment); they do funny tricks.

I guarantee that our Navy SEALS are not doing funny tricks.

Give me a break!

If Woot does not pull this soon then I will tell all of those friends that I've turned on to Woot about this. And they will tell their friends, etc.

I am sorry I missed that rant over 3 years ago. I found this thread while trying to find another shirt. As a US Navy veteran, I do not see any disrespect at all here. Why would you think it is disrespectful to have a t-shirt depicting the creature the Navy Seals were named after. And, as noted by someone else, if Woot offered a shirt with a picture of the SeaBee logo, would you also be offended. Yes, I know the Woot Seals T-shirt is not the official logo of the SEALS, but it is not offensive.
For the Seabee logo, see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seabee_(US_Navy)
