I love this shirt. I mean, It's a little off the typical "steampunk" definition in my opinion, but still really, really cool :D

Great design... love the black (bummer I missed yesterday's in time for a buy). In for 1!

I wish the detail .png was MUCH larger: it is difficult to discern exactly what I'm seeing (or am supposed to see).

Wow. This shirt might make me reconsider my No Butterflies policy.

Slight alteration in my discernment: it looks unfortunately like a butterfly has smacked into the windshield of my car, creating a large gear-shaped crack. Gotta buy a new windshield, I guess... after I clean the goo off until I can.



edit: oh, how sad! After the gear-shaped crack I apparently hit some flower. Multi-layer guck. Otherwise, a very interesting design & one certain to cause other people to notice.

would be better if this shirt came out around halloween time...but then again woot has never had good timing...

In anycase, regardless of this being "steampunk" or not, I still think it's pretty cool looking and bought one. Because I personally like it, and that's what matters most to me.

Isn't that what matters most in a shirt, is first and foremost whether or not you personally like it?

Why should whether it did or did not fit the category the best matter? Apparently enough people thought it did fit the topic, since it was second place.

The best solution to this is, a) don't buy it or b)open up your own t-shirt site so you can dictate what does or doesn't print.

I always wanted a cool steam powered butterfly. I always felt that the nuclear or coal powered ones were so.. so... non steampunkish.

If only the coolness would overcome the design on this shirt..

The yellow half tones remind me of Dust from Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials.

i dig the gears inside of the butterfly, it looks like they would grind together to move the wings when the butterfly flies.
