atshephe wrote:What is BBQ? Where I'm from, its not throwing some dogs on the grill, or some shrimp on the barbie. Its a style, and that style is defined by the sauce that is used. Ask anyone and most people will tell you one of two things, either a tangy vinegar-based, or a sweet ketchup-based sauce makes the best BBQ. Its a battle that has raged for years; a question that has devided families and definied entire regions accross the country. Personally, I'm a vinegar kind of guy, pulled pork style with cole slaw and texas pete. What kind of sauce are you?

High Resolution Version(1024x768):

Long live vinegar!

This would be great if the color was lighter. It's the summer, I don't want to be wearing black or brown.

Maybe, but the theme description specifically states s'mores as being on-topic.

theme description wrote:...And by BBQ we mean all forms of recreational outdoor summertime cooking, including weenie roasts, shrimp on the barbie, S'mores, luaus, all of it.

Thought about old bay, or even an old bay-colored generic tin, but figured it would be off limits. Thanks for the vote -- first time doing graphic design, and had to download Gimp to do it!

We call this color: Bull-fighting red.

I agree with this; BBQ needs meat. But yeah, smores are derby legal according to woot's theme description.

Re: BBQ Feast

Hey striker138 -

It's not a matter of people hating you or your work.

I know that it can get frustrating when designs don't get much acknowledgment... it's a matter of finding out what pleases the crowd, I think. It's kinda upsetting to me to see the "popular artists" get numerous votes regardless of their entry's quality - granted, most of them are very talented, but I mean come on.

Sad to say - I don't like, or in less offensive words - "I wouldn't wear", any of the shirts that are currently in the fog.
