I'm not an artist and no, I can't quite possibly understand being under the gun as far as time goes, but everyone needs to read this Bacon Love story and then someone needs to create this shirt (based on that awesome band name)! Please?

The 4 that Frostbiter listed are good, but I still am looking for something with the same ZING as the Genghis Khan World Tour shirt.

There are a lot of entries that could be just anything, meaning the only reason I know they are a band name is because they are in this derby. I realize that a lot of bands have names like that, but their shirts let you know that this is not just a saying and a bunch of stuff on a shirt.

Anyone still in here? Working on a design... any feedback appreciated, or color preference. Was also considering lemon, and maayyybe heather gray. Thank you!

Thanks chady! Ok, here's on lemon just to get an idea, but would have to figure out how I'm going to change the yellow coloring if I used lemon. But you get the idea...

Yep, the green still looks like the better option maybe because the design colors go nicely with the shirt color. Unless the design colors get somehow tinted a bit to go with the lemon shirt.

Hmmmm that can be done... I guess teh question is, do you like the lines less highlighted (green) or more highlighted (yellow)...
or do just just prefer lemon overall?;)
I gotta go right now, but I'll be back to check late tonight.

I personally prefer the kelly green. I'm actually trying to find out if I can wear lemon, hahah. I would have bought Tgentry's sun shirt, but I already have one on the way. So right now, yes with the green. Maybe others would chime in with their own preference.

hey mrwednesday... I actually wasn't thinking kelly as a choice, because the design has so much dark green in it. What do you think of the grass green?

I really want there to be more shirts with some awesome typography. With text being kosher for this derby, I thought people would take advantage of that. It seems as though the band name came second to the main illustration.

The ones that I dig the text are :
The Filthy Hippies
Electric Bill and the Charges - You used Hobo (I despise Hobo) but it works great with your design!
Botanical Beard
The Letter Brains
The Gypsy Carts
The Sex Drugs

I wish there were more derbies that allowed text.

Thank you! I actually normally avoid Hobo at all costs (by that I mean the font...not actual hobos...I keep a respectful distance but hey...they're people too) and I was really wondering if it was the right way to go...in the end though it turned out to be the best decision for it. Thanks for the compliment.

I really love Space Crabs typography, as well as letter brains, and your anatomically correct type is very good too

I had this problem too. eHalcyon helped me out a lot!

Just make a tiny psd file and submit that in the print-ready upload section. Then email your real file to woot.
