With tg's, it was really just in the title; the design was still relatively legitimate (if generic). I think the pander bears might cross the line into "woot reference" territory since it references the drama over the "see no evil" design.

I too hope that DF will decline to have it printed if Woot doesn't reject it first.

Oh well yes of course I agree with you there. Tgentry was mocking the style while DF is really just mocking himself. If I had a few prints under my belt, I'd poke a few shots at me too just for the fun of it. Now, I'm smiling and laughing at the moment but I'm guessin that might change if this isn't rejected and acutally prints. Then it's just |ame

Re: New Utopia

I like it. I think maybe it'd be better with the full name under the un though. Or maybe something about a tour or something. I don't know. And no shadow.

He won't pull it and that's why it's so hilarious. With the same breath that it makes fun of the idiotic tastes here at woot, it also is absolutely true because this is what he'd design anyway and it's not a joke entry at all.

Re: Werewolves Can't Dance

The name is great because it sounds like so many indie bands that have either 'wolf' or 'dance' in their name.

Those particular colours on heather gray don't appeal to me (maybe black?), but great werewolf illustration and great name.

Re: [url=http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=32839]

Does anyone else envision a big middle finger as this band's logo? This is effing hilarious. I would totally vote/buy if the inside joke would be received by the average person who would see me wearing it, but after I spent 2 minutes explaining the point, it would surely end with the listener going "Ohh.. heh." I would most likely add, "You had to be there." I hate when I have to explain jokes. hoho.

This is effing great though.

I just don't get how they can play the instruments without fingers...

Anyway, somehow this is more original than the original, and i hated the original.

Yes! I got my wish. Great stuff, as usual, Drak.

I remember seeing the rough version of this (I was at work, so I couldn't post), and thinking "If he gave the others some typical emo piercings, this would be perfect."

You made it look even better than I thought it could turn out. Got my vote and my purchase.

This thing will print, because we are all nerds here........and nerds hate emos.

If this is supposed to be a joke, its not even funny. I have never posted before, but I just cannot sit back and say nothing when I see this type of entry. It is an unorigional, overly used, and poorly drawn entry. Sorry to be so blunt.

Re: Green Dream Machine

If I saw someone wearing this shirt I wouldn't think to ask, "is the Green Dream Machine a band?" But I still love the design and would buy/wear the shirt anyway. I think it would work without the text too. Great colours.
