I really like this shirt, I voted for it last time and was heartbroken it didn't print. Voted again and keeping my fingers crossed. I love the blue&gold and love the theme and detail.

Some people submit painstaking work because they care too much not to. The effort-to-payout ratio is unthinkably skewed, but real art comes from the joy of creation. Drakxxx puts in so much detail week to week because that is what he believes in artistically. And that is what has gained him a strong fanbase, if not strong enough to get him over the schlock that prints instead. If he didn't put that effort in, he wouldn't be who he is. And I can guarantee that he'd start bleeding fans.

Every place is the place for well done work. It is the community's ignorance if they cannot realize it, not the artist's for going the extra mile.

That said, I fully expect this to be robbed, as well. If wooters can't understand steampunk in a derby devoted to the term, they sure won't care about it above all the other options.

This is the only shirt i'm backing this week. PRINT DAMNIT.

I cant believe this didn't print in the Steampunk derby, as it was pretty much the only shirt near the fog in that derby that was actually steampunk.
