I somehow missed this one on my first two passes but not this time. Great work and you got my vote. I do a similar style with some of my work though not as well (more abstract than yours). So I'm biased but I think it is very cool. Best of luck.

if it was a publicity stunt, they would not have let it ruin their comicon panel, where publicity for nerd-centricity is at its peak

way cool. unlikely to win - look at the ranking - kinda bleak, dark and threatening even, but very striking, and absolutely unique... maybe it could be a shirt some day. i've clicked through the top 70 entries and this is the most impressive of the lot.

i just wanted to mention i enjoy your willingness to minimize the logo - or at least to not overemphasize it.

So many of the designs are all logo, or thoroughly dominated by it. a few of them are interesting...

but after a while it becomes too much of a muchness. your work is unique and refreshing (and well drawn).

i think originally it was used by both resident and deliverer, to signify outgoing or delivered mail respectively, although now it is officially only used by the resident, and likely not even that for much longer - the powers that be are warning that putting up that flag is becoming an invitation to (identity) thieves.

as well, the flag-up computer icon has probably enhanced the misconception (insert Windoze slag here).

It looks great, but I'm noticing extra shades of yellow and blue in there. Are they just really fine halftones or did you add extra shades?
