As for the exclamation point on the tag, I think it'll be fine the logo is proudly displayed as requested. Anything else should be incidental as part of the design. If it gets rejected though I can easily remove it. Personally I think that would be extremely trivial.

why don't you fix it and resubmit it in accordance with the rules, then, and be honorable about it?

This is great. Too bad about the no text thing. That version was even funnier. My entire entry this week was based on text and I just saw now that it wasn't allowed. Oh well. Glad yours was salvageable!

The rules state that the only text that can appear on the shirt is the exclamation point of the woot logo. This is how that logo appears on the tag. Therefore it should be allowable. As for the white on colored background, I believe that applies to the main logo, which I put on there meeting woots requirements. Everything else in my design is just that: design. Since I feel everything is completely within both the rules and the spirit of the derby, I'm not going to resubmit until or if it is rejected. It has nothing to do with "honor", although that's a nice little dig there.

You need to resub this, there is no grey color to use. The white is the color of the bag and not an ink.

And?...the rules state the logo must appear on the design. It does. It's unskewed. The logo on the apron is not THE LOGO on the bag, it's part of the background design elements. You can look for technicalities in how the rules are worded all you want. Tattle away as I'm sure you are. I think I completely met woots requirements. If it gets rejected then so be it. I'll submit it later.

I tried it with the only bag I had and the label on the bag helps it keep its form. But it's certainly not as good as paper would be.

i am sure that if you had text on it, you'd say that it was a background design element that looked like text and not actual text and thus was also in compliance with the rules. you are funny.

IF I did something I would do what now? Just tattle and move on. Speculating on what I would do in some alternate derby reality isn't helping your shirt out.
