Re: The Delinquent School Of Fish Of Horror!!!

Yea, this is a pretty nice design but it seems like a stretch for the school theme. atleast to me.

I personally love this concept, as well as the Silhouette usage.

YES! I was hoping someone would do a paper airplane design because that's what I would have done, had I had the time.

you really spammed this thing in the discussion, but it's a turrible idea to put two in the derby as you're gonna split your votes.

Very clever . I like that it looks like a figure drawing mannequin.

Re: School for Bots

I really like the way you did the robot. The colors and style make it very appealing.

FYI, I think you need to resubmit this using the heathered texture if this shirt is heather gray, I think it's a new rule.

Re: Skool-O-Fish

Coo! I think it would probably be better without the fish floating up behind the chairs (the placement is a bit awkward for me), but still - it's rockin.

I'm not sure I would have included itching powder from my own school experience. But I've been reading Matilda to my daughter, so I had to put it in.

Thanks to everyone in the forums and Ehalycon for the name.

Votes and feedback appreciated!

I love how it turned out, the different color shades really add dimension to the picture.

What do the characters on the flag say?

Thank you, very glad to hear it!
One character means quiet/peaceful, the other means height/elevated.

This made me giggle, but I really wouldn't consider this incidental text. Also, you may want to fix your thumb (and/or comp), as you have notebook paper lines on your thumb but not on your shirt comp.

I just made a similar comment on the main derby thread, but I'm not really feeling that new brown. It looks good on the bird, but it doesn't seem to fit on the book's pages or the rhinos' bellies.

I'm pretty sure that text won't qualify as incidental, so the "fair use" argument may not matter.

thanks for the love.

Actually I had a debate at 430 this morning about incidental text... my friends convinced me that graphs must be labeled. so only time will tell

anyway.. I actually wanted the lines on my comp. it makes it more like a drawn school dootle (design wise???)

thanks,

Great idea! I used to be this girl too (in both high school and college!).
It didn't work so well when I had an assigned seat in the first row of British lit and my teacher would chastize me. I'd try to say "look, I'm drawing thoreau, I'm paying attention!" but he didn't seem to care what the subject matter of the doodles were.
