i DID, however, take the time to make each line unique... (ok--so there are THREE unique lines... THEN i got lazy and offset them)... but hey... i didn't phone it aaaall in! :]

I thought so too, but I think it's 3 greens, 1 white, 1 yellow, 1 orange/red. It's a trick of the eyes, the way the colors "change" when they are next to each other...hope this helps future viewers...

I like the idea, but I think this is a good example of non-incidental text. I imagine incidental text is something related intrinsically to the artwork (like a schoolhouse with a "School" sign above the door, a letter grade, a lunchbox with some text on it, etc.)

This text isn't worked into the design as a feature. It's the main part of the design.

Also, did you use the wrong form of "too" on purpose?

hahaha, I feel like college professors are less likely to be amused with doodles than high school teachers. My calc teacher in high school even wrote 'cute' under my doodle of a person's head om nom noming a cow (I was really hungry during that test), yet my one college professor (or was it a TA?) seemed less than thrilled to see dinosaurs terrorizing cities on my exams... *shrugs*

oo! I had a friend who did that too. She would draw eyes, and I would draw faces with only one eye or none at all. Clearly the class was very interesting. :x

Hahah. Explain the title I must. First, we start with the "School of Fish." Maybe I should've added more fishy to convey this, but the design got really busy when I added more, so I went by the famous saying to come up with the current number of fishy, "Two is a couple, Three is a party!" Hahah, yea, bit of a stretch I admit. Next is "Delinquent." It should be a rule or law by now in the fishy world that that eating worms on a metallic hook isn't too wholesome, but one of these fishy is about to break that rule. Also the "Delinquent" also applies to the sea horsey for not obliging to the universal law of helping others. And lastly "Horror." The fishy are just plain scary!

haha--totally! my math teacher, junior year, i remember would sit me in the absolute back of the class--despite EVER seating-arrangement change!

he also managed to NEVER call on me... in fact i'm pretty sure he never saw past the top of my head.

And I like the color changes you made to keep the sky in there. It's a nice splash of color, even if the blue bird had to be sacrificed and turned into a brown bird.

Love this! I failed geometry so many times that I HAD to buy Geometry Blows and I would have to buy this too. I agree that the texture is great and nice job on the muted colors.
