Re: Van Gogh's Witching Hour

Blues Clues and the Cookie Monster IN THE FOG?!?
I think it's time for kids.shirt.woot to make an appearance.
The Shirts are funny, but I can't imagine anyone above 12 actually wearing them.

@stargirl6878 - I don't even pretend to think I understand voters! 223 blueberry lovers perhaps? (229 now actually). Glad you think it looks great though.

Anyway I came here to say, another great design jasneko, I would love this for my daughter. One day I'll be able to buy one of your shirts.

Thanks so much D3lusional, appreciate it! I hope one day you can!: )

Wow, congratulations tjost, you got someone to register just for this shirt!

You've got my vote, because it's an awesome shirt, but I'm not sure if I would wear it. Little too close to a common occurrence after extreme alcohol consumption for me.

I don't normally comment on these, but I hope this makes it into the top three. I want this shirt very badly.

I love your design, if you don't get a honorable mention or editor's choice and decide to print with someone else, let us know

Also you wouldn't happen to have uploaded a larger, better quality copy of this(without the t-shirt template in there)? I want to make it my wallpaper so bad.

That's one funny lady you're referring to. This was a bit of a stream of consciousness( let the hand do the talking stuff ), ie: a desktop doodle, with no particular person in mind but if the lady resembles Lucille, so much the better and thanks for the thumbs-up..;p

sonny2009 wrote:Did you people really have to vote both Sekiyoku AND Ramyb into the top 4? Isn't one enough? For the love of God, the figure in this drawing has a gorilla arm or something. This is ludicrous.

I was looking at the same thing... you can kindof see where her knees are and how close her hand comes to her knees. But then looking in the mirror, it wasn't that different; I already knew I have disproportionately long arms for my size (finding long-sleeve shirts/jackets is hard), but I don't think I look like a gorilla either... :-)

And I think it's hilarious how so many people are arguing over shirt designs... are they the same/different/good/horrible. They go back and forth and back and forth, posting pictures to back up what they are saying. It's a shirt. You like it, you can buy it. If not, then you don't buy it. Then you can go about the rest of your life and be happy. :-)

Or maybe it's just so awesome it doesn't need me to grasp at straws to find a blue reference, and it doesn't actually have to use an interpretation of the word blue.

The derby introduction specifically says you do not need to make a reference to the word blue in your design.

I'm not an anti-ramyb wooter, but come on... open your eyes, people.

1. i like this format
2. i like cute animals
3. i like halftone swirly spam

so i vote and buy these shirts, isn't that the whole point? vote for a shirt you would want to buy and buy it?

i really want this shirt to print though... it reminds me of somebody...

Blueberries (not an interpretation but actually blue), the Earth (again, blue and not an interpretation), blue crayons, blue jays, blue whales... all still up.

"Blue"berries. "Blue" planet, "Blue" oceans. Blue is a crayon color. Blue jays and Blue whales are real species.

I seem to have misstyped. Not only interpretations here but things that are actually blue, and have a solid standing as that way.

Not really. I mean, what you typed wasn't really wrong. A drawing of blueberries is an interpretation of those blueberries as the artist sees them. It's the artist's view of a thing that is inherently blue.

On the other hand, a blue strawberry would need something else going on for it to make sense. Like it's blue because it's sad or it's in disguise or something. Because it's not inherently blue and coloring a random something blue is not enough to be on theme.

Re: Blue Moon

I posted this before, but now that you're for sure in the fog--

When (if, but I'm guessing it's not #4) you submit your design for printing, can you try to fix up her left arm? I *love* this design, but that arm really bothers me. It's too long and deformed (bending out at the elbow? bottom half of arm curving? eh?). Thanks for reading.
