Re: Tokyo Demolition

Really like the design, but you should have kept/moved the little guy onto the shirt. It really adds to the overall scene and the pun you're making with the shirt title.

@ rasberry - Okay, I'll see what I can do.

If you are going to resubmit, I would also suggest making the text a little more stylized ... right now they don't really match the sleekness of the rest of the design. You could even add some depth/shine to them.
Also, since Japanese is often written vertically, why not actually have the side text written that way? Unless there is some reason I'm not getting to why you have it written sideways.
Just things I think would improve the design: )

Very nice concept and great artwork!
But I'd rather leave out the
Japanese text.

Its real formal japanese for a funny shirt, something more colloquial seems more fitting.

It owuld be cool if they could print the Ninja parts of this shirt in glow in the dark ink so they would not be visible except in the dark.

Nifty!
A coworker just gave me a whole calendar of origami. A different design every day.

None as cool as this one.

Re: A Beginner's Guide to Origami

I like this a lot more than your other 2 designs in this derby.

I can at least relate to it in my lifelong inability to do origami.

Munchy Attack If you can find the name of this artist & real song title I'll buy you a daily woot shirt (your choice what day)

Dystopia Dark Lager, Where the Wild Parties at?, B.A. Bearacus, and many more wanted in XXL(PLEASE!!!)
Edgar Allen Poe shall remained headlock'd until Nevermore is reckoned.

Cool!
But in my opinion even better if the "cloud" in the background would have the shape of Japan itself!
My 2 cents!

I love the glow behind the origami steps, one of the nicest use of halftones I've seen lately. Not to mention the clever concept. Great job, hope it prints.

The individual elements in your fan are really, really slick dude. Like the great wave especially. Would have liked something other than navy but obviously, that is personal preference. Great job!

Definitely my favorite in this Derby. I wouldn't wear it 'cause it's not really my style but it's a great idea. There's something very charming about these guys singing Duran Duran. Well done, Boots!
