I hope you're joking since that's only been gone a month. If you're actually serious, buy randoms and watch teetrade. But don't watch the classics (if they ever return) as that shirt isn't going to appear.

Coming up to a year now. Why is the "classics" link even in the top navigation?

Come on whirt.woot, shlt or get off the pot already.

I'm really sad I missed the black shirt with the cat with the Sam Fisher goggles and the Owl....I'd love to see that one come back! Unfortunately I missed it due to being too considerate to my family. Ha! I was waiting to make the purchase until they could decide if there were 2 more people who wanted one so we could order 3. Lo and behold! They couldn't make up their minds! And the otterific shirt dropped below the cutoff line....

Please bring it back in the classics!

Angry Day is probably one of the smartest classics woot could bring back. It's a great mix of popularity, cleverness, and cheapness to print, and moreover, it was pretty silently reckoned long long ago on a weekend where there was no reckoning reminder on Friday (and no live-updated reckoning link, either).

They really should have a pledge system where people vote and commit to buying if printed on classics. Maybe raising the price once it has hit the goal. I wouldn't mind a couple $10 or $15 holds on my credit card for a week or 2 if it meant getting that all elusive shirt. It would have to be Redux then because who knows what you might get with a remix.

BATS! would print instantly

I'm sure you guys get an awful lot of requests and I wouldn't be surprised if your eyes fly through this one like it never existed.

A couple years ago I saw a woman on the street with the most amazing shirt I'd ever seen. I had to know where she got it. Shirtwoot? #$% is that? I quickly jotted down the site and never got the chance to look it up until I finally got internet, 2 months ago. Immediately I had to find that shirt, when I found it I was overwhelmingly sad that it was no longer for sale.

This is that shirt:
http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=8662
Please give me a chance to buy it. I'm damn near begging.

It's been two long years living without this much bloody Wootness in my wardrobe. I know everyone is sick of penguins, but this one, I believe, is a legend among Sphenisciformes.

The issue with this is that it wouldn't print bats instantly. It would print with the same exact likelihood as it would in a derby. We'd get a reprise of chibi rodents and text-cobbles and stick figures and general horrible. We would never get Bats, or really anything old enough or good enough to be "classic"

Classics NEED to be in the hands of woot itself.

I'm new to shirt.woot so I don't know if this is a classic shirt or not but I bought a random shirt and it has a Star Wars theme. It looks like a storm trooper with glasses (over his helmet) has just shot Luke. I'm sure there's a punchline behind this picture but I don't get it. Can any of you explain the picture to me. I hope this isn't one of those things that will mark me as missing the obvious.
Thanks in advance!

I believe the point was that if the stormtroopers corrected their vision with glasses, they'd actually be able to hit something they were shooting at for once.

I'm sure the cutesy and inane would get reprints but if it was based on meeting a threshold of already committed buyers, not a competition, then all the good ones would print too if there are enough people willing to put the money down.

If it was a competition, I'm not so sure that people who like that junk would be willing to put a vote if it meant they had to buy it. No way to tell though.

The way to tell is that 90%+ of all derby shirts, no matter the artist or the quality, sell above their votes. So if derby shirts regularly are awful, and regularly outsell their votes, then regularly we would get classics that are also awful, because people would commit to buying them.

I still think that anyone with even the vaguest idea of the economy would be against any sort of pre-sale commitment that doesn't guarantee a tee, as it inherently favors by class (so the more frivolous you are and the more disposable income you have, the more you'll vote... and generally, people who care about artistry are more reserved or struggling with their funds, so the conclusion is the same, and the status quo will just get worse).

Wow. I think I know when to stop so you win. My completely hypothetical idea is not worth a battle, especially since I don't have "even the vaguest idea of the economy." Good luck with life and your half empty glass

Second, OH. MY. GOD!!! At first sight I saved the image to my computer, set it as my wallpaper, and cried over the fact that it is in pixel form, rather than textile...
