I was torn, I liked it both with and without the text. I think I will go ahead and submit a text free version, then give it 24 hours to see if the masses prefer one over the other.

To be fair pip boy is the name of the electronic gadget the main character wears and uses, vault boy is the name of the poster boy. Also I don't feel too badly about doing this as a "cheap" approach or anything because try as I might I have NOT proven I am capable of better with my highly original designs. In my view, this would flare more reason to be upset were it done by a seasoned designer who has printed many times, I am yet to even make a name for myself.

Yeah orange really isn't my style either. That's why I originally had it on brown. I had to change it up a little more so it would be legit for this competition, so I'm hoping the different colors, distress, and text will be enough. Also, a few people last time really wanted it in orange, so that really influenced the decision this time. Just trying to give the people what they want, but it seems I can't make everyone happy at the same time

I agree. I think the design would be much stronger if it just ended with the punch-line "Be hungry - nevermore".
