jasneko wrote:Many of the famous musical composers were believed to mad.
With the pace they wrote, and size and power of their compositions, it is easy to believe.

Even today, madness and musical genius often seem to go hand in hand.

Design's fascinating. The color is really not wearable though... Lime Green?

That's what I got as well, though I don't recall Grenth having antlers.

Technically wouldn't the vampire not be visible in a picture. I don't know I'm not up to par on vampire lore.

I'm really happy with the colors. The lines were great in the pre-launch thread, and the colors make it even better.
The cran is rad, I want to wear the cran.

Re: It Comes From Within (Resubmission)

I do want this, sir. Yes I do. I -looove- the bold contrast between the green and yellow. That yellow couldn't possibly be more in-your-face. But at the same time it's cast in a way that makes it look appropriate and almost subtle when considering the whole.

Yeah. GMV.

What better madness from which to suffer than the March variety. In honor of my alma mater. Too bad Temple lost before I could finish this design.

Please vote for my sad little owl anyway!

Re: Run Amuck!

Yeah, this is good. The absudity of the graphic is what makes me love it.
And it's a guilt-free love because your post about it explains a logical train of thought instead of just a 1-2 punch of "Silly graphic + Anthro Animals," which I've typically hated.

I'm not sold on the dead squids' placements though. Still GMV.

hl474 wrote:Design's fascinating. The color is really not wearable though... Lime Green?

Thanks hl474. It's called Grass green. I tried to find some posted pics of it.. they look a bit different in each picture.
Pics:here, here,and here

I got one as a random, and it did look rather lime-y to me, but a nice spring-y color. Since where I am it's warming up and things are growing, I had fresh green colors on the mind.

I could still submit another version on another shirt though, if more people think similarly. I was considering white originally, as well as heather gray and kelly green...
and then with color scheme changes baby blue, cranberry, red, lemon, navy and asphalt.
Any suggestions yourself?

Re: Mad Manson

Woot does not allow celebrity likenesses, but this might pass, since the nose blocks some of the face.

But Manson posing as a clown? That's a little too creepy for me.

hl474 wrote:First thing I thought of too... A big red engorged... The colors scheme is really cool though.

I -didn't- see that, but now I can't un-see.

But really though, it looks pretty good. I like the off-kilter placement and the subtle-yet-striking white streak makes it very interesting to look at. It balances out the dark tones -just- enough, while still adding to the feeling of desparity achieved by the rest.

I agree, and woot's daily artists' own attempts haven't been any better.

Tan, this is already my desktop background. :D I hope to have it in shirt form. By the way, any word on Gorgon Love's future as a shirt?
