Sirens - in Greek mythology, dangerous bird-women luring sailors to their doom. Taking motifs from ancient Greek ceramics, this design either says: "Watch out! I'm a dangerous bird-women!" or perhaps "Please lure me to my doom..." Making any sense? Well, it's all Greek to me.

And vorteks, you need to look a little more closely. The serif part of his tail fell off. So the salamander IS sans serif. So you're, like, the exact opposite of right.

People should realize that it doesn't take a thousand lines and infinite detail to make a truly great shirt.

This is the cutest design in the contest easily (and probably the coolest because its a SLOTH!!!), and its a shame if it loses.

I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Snoodmonger is correct. I was going for the tail falling off as the indication that the salamander is no longer a "Serif". Thanks for catching that. Regardless, I appreciate that you think it's cool. thanks!

it has some anime throw back to it but it doesn't read anime to me. It reminds me more of a michael turner illustration.

Aha! There's totally not! I just like when cartoons get squished by steamrollers.

There was some likening to Rickrolling going on in the comments. If anyone's not familiar with that term, here's a link to horrific images of elderly women giving birth that will explain everything.
