Re: How your house gets dusty

Thanks paigeg! :^)

I feel like the shirt is more fun if it's immediately clear what it's about, so the text helps out.

yep, I see no reason not to re-use the design.

Nice, I can see people getting invested in reading the shirt and then you have the payoff at the end.

"someone dies everytime you pull the trigger"

am i misinterpreting the point?

Do you think it would be better w/o the text?

This is cool! KInda looks Seuss-ish to me with the colors and skinny tree lol

Re: Funny Bones

polynothing wrote:As the artist of the original "puppet check up design" which this design appears to be ripping off, I thought I'd throw out there, that the shirt has already been purchased by a company, and should be being released relatively soon through that site. I'd appreciate if you would take down this design, as it is awfully close to mine. Thanks.

Wow, you honestly believe you are the first person to ever conceive of the idea of x-raying a muppet?

Than you're an spoon.

Before you go bashing others with similar ideas do you're research. If you've thought of a wonderful idea rest assured that 100 other people have had the same thought.

Haha, I'm so glad it causes that reaction!

And actually, you hit the nail on the head. About halfway through when I was drawing the arms, I realized it was a lot like my let's curdle design. But it's not something I set out to do and I think(hope) the message is different enough.

What I wouldn't give for a tree like this. As long as it didn't end up being a Stephanie Meyer tree..

This shirt is fantastic! I love how lock mechanisms work. And I also happen to like visual metaphors. :P

I love how text-booky it looks. Nice details and color too.

Re: DragonInTheSun

Hello all! If you look at the sun close enough you may be able to see the silhouette of the space dragon inside. Its kind of like the man in the moon, but a little different. This design features the dragon peeking out to say hey. woot woot!

Keith Giffen is one of my favorite comic book artists, I love that crazy guy from czarnia. Somewhat of a comicbook head huh? Not to many people mention Trencher. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Well executed, I love the concept. One suggestion, perhaps thicken the lines a bit, either on the design or the lettering. Something about the text is throwing me off. Great entry!

I was kind of hoping someone would do a Rube Goldberg take on a firearm however, a little cause and effect from pulling the trigger and the little guy pushing the button would have helped.

Also, the text isn't going to do anything except alienate potential voters/buyers. I've put hundreds of thousands of rounds through my guns and havn't killed or even injured anyone unless you count a sore shoulder from overdoing it on the trap range.

Re: How a slinky works

I have a story:

There once was a slinky without any rotational energy. He didn't go anywhere. The End.

If you add (Iω^2)/2 to the Kinetic Energy equation the slinky would live happily ever after... until he hit a bannister or something...

That being said, I like the shirt anyways GMV.
