The robots are saying domesticity is futile, yet they seem to be advocating domesticity with their bodies and actions. This shirt makes no sense.

The Borg should have learned the best vacuum implementation strategy from Kryton. Maybe the Borg couldn't pick up a PBS station that carried Red Dwarf. (They obviously wouldn't pick up the BBC itself... How would they pay the license fee?! They aren't CRIMINALS!)

What are you saying, that Domesticity is Not Futile? That I'm not picking up the same toys I picked up yesterday, or washing the same dishes? This shirt makes perfect sense.

Sure, it doesn't work as a perfect analogy for the TNG reference. It provides that unexpected inversion of reality trick for those who are so well versed in borg-lore. You may also want to look up juxtaposition and excessive statement as humor devices.

I interpreted the shirt to mean that OUR attempts at domesticity are futile. (In the same way that OUR attempts at resistence were futile.) If you could see my house at this very moment, you would not be surprised that this was my interpretation.

And, since in the world of Trekkers I probably count as a Hot Babe, I'm in for one!

Don't you hate it when people tell you "you might want to look something up"? As if you're dumb? More irritating than the poor use of juxtaposition, even. However, I can't claim that either have ruined my day, so my return flame ends here.

Sorry but I have to agree about the caption. I love the concept, and the artwork is great. Redo it with a caption like "You Will Be Domesticated" and I'll bite.

That reminds me of the junkbots from The Incredible Crash Dummies movie, and as a side note, the main bad guy uses a vaccuum cleaner to subdue the professor.
