This shirt doesn't make any sense to me... Isn't the common perception of a Magic 8 Ball that it is a stupid toy that doesn't give you real answers? I would think if there were scientists working on machines that the answers would be more logical and based on statistics, and actually the same every time you ask the same question!

I think a scientist picking a card randomly from a hat would make more sense for a Magi 8 Ball...

Got one for my mom for her birthday/Mother's Day, I think she will enjoy this design. Magic 8 balls with tiny scientists inside...I wish I could get her one of those. This will have to do. :P Very cool design!

I'd say go for it... it won't be quite that close to the collar. Besides, if it were much lower, it would sit too low on a tee to make sense.

They just cut one of these open tonight on Sliced on History channel. It's blue on the inside not purple. I didn't see any little science dudes in there either.

i used to have that job, i was fired though. didn't see it coming either... maybe thats why.

Unfortunately, the size of the graphic is way too small in my opinion! I would have liked for it to be a little bigger!

Those little scientists had better hope an engineer never gets their hands on the ball. They'll break it apart, and try to put it back together again differently....

I find this explanation far more plausible than the existence of the mythical "icosahedron". Shapes confuse me.

No, it makes perfect sense. See, the problem is you were thinking of actual full-size scientists. Of course they wouldn't make such mistakes. But tiny scientists like these have tiny heads, and thus, tiny brains. So they've programmed all their machines incorrectly, because their tiny brains couldn't figure out the right way. As a result, the machines are not accurate, and you get random and inconsistent answers to your questions. So the shirt makes perfect sense.

What I want to know is how in the world the operators withstand being jostled around all the time.

Are they equipped with anti-gravity shoes? Maybe, the inside of the Magic 8 ball has some type of fancy-schmancy air control chamber?

Sir Issac Newton would be rolling in his grave if he had seen such a physicist's conundrum!

Not even remotely a fan... Those halftones in the middle of the ball, I think they're supposed to be shading, they look awful. Just my opinion as a complete non-artist and solely a buyer. Take it for what you will, but the pattern of those halftones looks SO cheap. I feel like I could find this shirt on a $2 bargain bin at goodwill due to somebody ironing on the design.

The concept is amazing. The tackiness of those halftones ruin it for me.
