Re: Spring 2 Life

Really gorgeous, yo. I love the simplicity/readability of the shape. The spring is just enough of a curiosity to make people lift an eyebrow and look again. Nice!

haha you're right, I did not look close enough! Still awesome with a dead bird since my dog tries to catch birds - but to no avail :-P I think she forgets birds can fly and she can't.

Re: POLLENATION

The desing and concept are nice. I'm seeing the triangle as an eye, so the halftone shapes below (hive?) are taking away from it for me. Eyelashes or hive - I can deal with either, but both are confusing. LOVE the color choices.

All are superior designs and executed much better.

Those 3 shirts have great designs, and they would look great on my wall. As far as shirts go, they just don't cut it and I wouldn't wear them if they were free.

I guess this is where we differentiate. In my opinion art belongs on a wall or in a gallery. Sweetness and cuteness belong on shirts.

As far as Draxx goes, I love his work and wished he won more often (I own 6 or 7 of his shirts). He falls under the sweetness side while Ramby and Seki fall under both sweetness and cuteness (mainly cuteness though). I own 1 TGentry shirt, and think that he is a very good artist, but his shirts are usually too much of wall art for my tastes.

And this isn't on a Woot template. Read the stuff on the submissions page and download a template. You'll get better at this...

Ooooooh, Yeahhhhh. O wait, that was the KoolAid dude. I don't care - this is fresh, shiny, springy, and involves music. And this is a RARE case where I didn't care for the green. GMV!

Yep, wrong derby. But keep trying! FYI Derbies close at noon CDT on Wednesday, and voting goes until noon CDT on Thursday, when usually the new Derby theme is announced.

Re: Persephone Rising

Pomegranates! That's not something you see every day. Of course, they take over 6 months to ripen, so not really considered a spring fruit. Not anywhere in the US, anyway. Like your style, though. Something here is lacking (shirt color??). But the idea is great and you have a nice style.

Re: Spring Tree

As nice as this is, I think there is something more needed to really hit the 'spring' theme. Especially since spring trees usually aren't fully-leafed. At least, that's my thought.
