This isn't pandering. It's making fun of the pandering done by the designers this shirt is parodying.

Re: Kill It!

imho: Great concept, and the expressions and body language really carry it off. I think it would be stronger if the flower color wasn't so pale (which might work better on a darker blue shirt); and it doesn't really need two snowmen. Just the one with the shovel, if the flower were facing it, gets the point across.

Re: Raptor among the Robins

I also got the blue eggs = robin = spring connection after a few seconds. Maybe that's why the raptor is red, to bring 'red' to mind without making some of the feathers red and by implication bloody?
The giant eyes aren't *too* extreme given a cartoony style and that they have to be a focal point. I also think all the black outlining on the raptor works well against the color-silhouettes of all the other shapes.
But I keep getting distracted by the leftmost egg being the 'wrong' color instead of blue, and by the outline of the fourth egg. I think it would be more coherent if all four eggs were the same blue.

Re: The Chalice

It's a beautiful and powerful concept. I especially like how the inner leaves lighten with the glow of the water within. I think that brightness would be brought out more against a slightly darker green shirt, while the trunk would be de-emphasized a little.
Also, the tangle of lines at the splash point is just sort of... there. Most of the lines and squiggles are the same weight, similar colors, and don't mean anything, except for the few, bright round water drops. I'd be more inclined to buy this shirt if the splash were more of a splash, or had more varied energetic lines, or if the lines were more like vines and leaves; or any combination of such, really. As it is, all the power is in the chalice part of the design.

Re: Springtime! What a relief!

Agreed, this is a great idea and I hope it gets some play. The bunny's a great touch. Suggestions: better edges on the sky, as has been said; and if you color the symbol on the tree in dark brown, it might get the point across faster. For speed of concept, I'd also suggest the middle bear in line also be standing with his feet closer together or some such, to make his pose different from the bear already using the facilities. That said, the rightmost bear has a *great* pose. No question what he's doing.

Re: Texas Spring

I really like putting these two things together, and it's perfect timing. There's also the great oval shape focusing on the little splash of bright color in center. And the detail of all the scales is very nice, and seems reasonably accurate.
However the sheer amount of detail, all in the same weight and color, muddies up the armadillo's form. It's hard to make out the adorable little eyes, ears and nose, much less the shape of the muzzle, shoulders and forepaws. Contrast with how well the forelimbs as a whole stand out because of the dark space below and especially above them. Also, the fur lines on the belly look a little too much like scratch marks instead of having a fur-like direction, though the muzzle and shell hairs look great.
There needs to be some overall value difference that distinguishes the armadillo's features. Maybe creating highlights by thickening the lines on the upper edges of shoulders, head, ears, and forepaws, and beneath the eyes?
Otherwise I think this could potentially be an iconic design.

Re: Delicious Spring Rolls

This is far too cute for me to tolerate actually wearing it, but it's still a great idea. The wood serving platter and the soy sauce dish make the concept clear, and the snake has lovely shading. (nitpick: it could use a little more shadow on the left coil, to match the shadows around the soy dish... the head end just looks a little flat compared to the tail.)
...But why is the bunny smiling? *shudder* ; >
