Has Woot ever printed with gold metallic ink before? If so, can someone post a pic of what it would look like on a real shirt? I'm just curious how this design/coloring will translate to an actual shirt, and how metallic the ink looks.

Not sure what all the confusion is about. It's like a wind-up chatter teeth toy, except with saber teeths.

Also, why so much complaining about the shirts? If you don't like what woot's selling, go buy your $10 including shipping American Apparel shirts elsewhere.

I think the confusion is that there seems to be two jokes in here. One is that there is a chatter-teeth saber tooth tiger head. I get that.

Then for some unrelated reason there's a gold toof, too. Err, ok.

Two funny things. Not funny together. I'd rather have just the gold toof. I mean, what kind of ho wouldn't run out and make that cheddah when her pimp gots a grill like that?!

Wasn't it the olive "General" shirt with the video game thingies instead of ribbons? (haven't had enough coffee to remember the name, but hopefully you can figure out what I mean...)

It's a conspiracy. I've YET to see something that grabs me to use my coupon I got with the woot-off lights on the April 1st choose your own woot.

I don't particularly care for this shirt either, but I guess my expectations of woot! aren't as high as other people's. 9 times out of 10, I expect the shirt to be something I'm not interested in. That's just my tastes, though.

I'd get this one without the wind-up gear, but having two jokes just muddies the message.

Maybe it should have committed to just one of the visual jokes, but it's shiny!

Seriously, it's normal to not LOVE the shirt every day. I don't like this one, but I don't think it's a turd either, people have different preferences, and as long as it's not an artistic fail or something fakon and overdone I'm content.

I have too many woot shirts already, if they had something every day and in every derby that I really wanted I'd go crazy.

You're right, coloring might have helped...
Skull + Chatter Teeth = ok
Chatter Teeth + Gold Tooth = ok
Skull + Gold Tooth = ok
Skull + Gold Tooth + Chatter Teeth = w.t.f.

(as far as the illustration goes, though, I think it's really well done)

But yeah the design isn't really anything.

I'd like it better completely natural or maybe with the one gold tooth. The key and components inside the mouth...meh. He could rework it for his own site and I suspect, it would sale better.

It was Console General however there do not seem to be any pics of this shirt in its thread (unless I missed them ^_^;).

As a dental student I want to like this, but sadly I don't think I will purchase it.

I don't know how it looks on the news to the rest of the folks around the nation, but it's pretty bad. I go to college in Nashville, so I'm seeing the flooding impact first-hand. But it's not just Nashville that has had this flooding -- other counties are suffering, as well.

Back to the shirt:
Metallic gold works for paints, not shirts. I don't like the idea of wearing metallic colors.. but that's just me.
I hate sequins too. lol
