Love the monster face...very Kingdom of Loathing(in the teeth), but without anyone loathing. The tentacle does kind of worry me, but if it's coming off my shirt, it'll be on my side, right?

Didn't you know?! Square-shaped, ravenous monsters are the direct result of flushing many of life's aquatic friends (such as the goldfish) down the toilet. Simultaneously, someone somewhere is flushing prescription medication, illegal drugs, biohazardous materials down the toilet as well.. then Bada bing, bada boom.. a monster is created (which is then cut into a square by the monster chef that lives in the sewer).

I heard his 401k is awesome.

I got asked this in a job interview 13 years ago... thankfully haven't seen it since; that company replaced it a few years later with "why do clocks run clockwise?" which wasn't much better...

So glad I was not the only one who thought this. I saw the design and thought "...a Legends of the Hidden Temple shirt? Cool."

There is more than one answer. One of the most likely reasons is because they need to easily be lifted up and dropped by those using them, and round ones don't have to be rotated to fit. They always fit. Square manhole covers would require rotating until the corners match.

They should have put one of those on the Bottom of the Well in Kakariko. Might have prevented the escape of Bongo Bongo.

Wow, a little surprised to get 1st! Despite the creepy tentacles and razor sharp teeth I'm sure the monster itself is cute and harmless in real life. It can't help its unfortunate shape.

The detail on the edge of the manhole makes this shirt awesome. The manhole itself is cool, but the cracks in the asphalt just make this shirt. Gotta have it!

First off, great art, very detailed! That being said, I don't see how it fits the theme, and what is perhaps infinitely worse, you gave the square monster long reachy tentacles. It doesn't have to leave the sewers. It can remove the man hole cover, and pull curious passer-bys in without leaving the comfort of it's own home. Kinda like pizza delivery for a Ninja Turtles reference.
