Great "love story" shirt. And you don't even need the Romeo and Juliet context for it to make sense.

That's not a monster? It's a pretty creepy character. Actually all of your characters seem to weird me out.

Yeah, I have to say - I love the drawing, but desaturating the color scheme would probably help a lot. This looks like it belongs on a velvet blacklight poster, right now.

I read this first as "Freudian" and my knee jerk reaction was "Crap, I've spelled something very inappropriately wrong!" haha. BUT on second glance, I'm very flattered. Brian Froud is amazing! Thank you

I don't know if I should take this as a compliment...but I will!! I really appreciate an aesthetic in which the viewer is torn between finding something beautiful or endearing and finding it really disturbing, haha. As a result, I like willowy women with hidden faces and long, lithe limbs (alliteration *BAM*). The elongation thing probably started when I first saw Lori Earley's art...which i looooooove. Everyone should check it out!

Thanks to everyone else for their feedback and compliments as well! Seems in the end like the majority ruling is approval of my text so Hooray!!

Is this comment a victim of Woot's word-replacement technology, or does it shift gears in the middle and become suddenly positive? Either way...thanks...I think

Re: Read The Whole Book!

Ok, I *thought* I had commented on this design, but apparently it was just in my head @_@

I didn't really use cliff notes in high school but everyone around me always had them ... I borrowed someone's once because I wasn't that into a book (it wasn't shakespeare, some war-related book)... I regretted it, because I didn't do so well in that test! I think the teachers particularly hated cliffnotes, so I have a feeling they might have purposely picked quiz questions not found in them;)

Very amusing idea and well done Spiritgreen!!

Vote!

Ah this is neat. I really like that you've covered so many of his players and the style on these guys is really appealing to me. Good job.

I sort of wish it was on a different color shirt but that's more a minor quibble with light AA blanks showing my bra off then your design. =[ Good Luck! GMV!

This is six colors on a cream shirt. Here's a detail:

The text is mainly there for decorative purposes but it does tie into the design, it's "All that glisters is not gold" repeating over and over. Man, he really hates Cliffs Notes.

You can view a BIG version here. Thanks so much for looking. Please vote if you like this design! ^__^

I hate to be THAT guy, but CliffsNotes and the yellow/black design is copyrighted.....
