DAISYC wrote:yea. I counted the eyeballs in the tree already. I'm thinking maybe the lone egg in the nest is supposed to be number 13??? Im not sure though because he said different animals and there is already a bird. IDK I can't find it. I still think it's an awesome design and definitely a city

1) bird
2) butterfly
3) owl
4) eyeballs in the tree
5) raccoon
6) beaver
7) fish

people will be stupid everywhere. we have the same problems where i live too. cyclists should follow the rules of the road if they are going to ride on it. i for one would love to see a cop pull over a cyclist for running a red light haha

You can Woot! if you want to, you can leave Amazon behind, because if you don't buy the Woot! from the real Woot!, then you're, no friend of mine. Say we can Woot!, we can Woot!, they're doing it from home to home.

No offense to Draxxx but this version is a lot less intense and a lot more wide angle establishing shot from a Disney movie (I still would have voted it). I think it's mostly just the clouds...

Re: Neapolitan Metropolitan

You need to mash the two together for its name. Neopolotis... Neopolitinopolis. Netropolis.

ah, that's a bit harder than I thought. Someone more Joyce than me needs to squash those words together. Suggestions?

megsck wrote:Do you even read what you write? I did not attack you or respond to any of your comments with my initial comment. In fact I did exactly what you said. I explained why I like this design and why I think it is perfectly on topic. YOU are the one who attacked me for liking this piece and for explaining why I think it's on theme.

You can have your opinions. I don't really care what you think about anything. I was just stating that it would suck if people dissed this artist because of previous history. Again I will say you can think anything you want, but when you start throwing out phrases/statements like "because it is," you've ventured beyond the realm of politely stating an opinion. You're trying to state an opinion as if it were a fact. Who cares if something is generic? Things are called generic because they are super-popular and can be seen everywhere. That sounds like an ideal thing to be if you're trying to sell artwork. So, in conclusion, I THINK this is perfectly on topic and I BELIEVE that it's getting votes because it's a good design. Now it's your turn to whine about how it's getting votes because people are stupid and will vote for anything that is, (in your words) "boring and generic."

Also if you think I look unintelligent because I make spelling errors, then YOU are wrong, now that's my opinion.

You're wrong on that one buddy. I think a quick survey would show that a large majority of decently-educated people (read: graduated high school) immediately think less of someone who's incapable of using correct spelling and grammar.

I <3 you for plodding through that post and correcting everything. You're right: people who can't even handle spelling, punctuation and grammar look like first-class tools.

I hadn't heard of Okay, AR...but there's Hamburg, El Dorado, Smackover, Stamps, Waldo, Horatio, Paris, Little Flock, Lincoln, West Fork, Eureka Springs, England, Cotton Plant, Bald Knob, Pocahontas, Arkadelphia, Texarkana, Nashville, Flippin, Salem.... Oh so many good names. Altho I bet Okay, AR is an appropriate name, perhaps even optimistic, lol.

Man I was really rooting for this one. I really like the design and the colors it's all so awesome! I hope they feature it as an Honorable mention because that was such a close race and i feel it really deserved to win. Hopefully this will pop up again in the future if it doesn't make it now somehow.
