Re: He Knows the Difference

Text should stay, Possums look like giant rats (Its not just the artwork... they do look like giant rats.. I see enough of em.) When I clicked on the thumbnail I thought it was a rat, but the text cleared it up. Death looming over a dead rat isn't as funny.

Re: Oh No She Di'nt

Even a lot of actual Beavis and Butthead merch couldn't use the band names "AC/DC" and "Metallica", I would expect a rejection sometime for that reason.

Re: Optimus Price

I don't think it looks humanoid enough to look like a transformer (no definitive arms+legs etc.). When I first saw it I though it was a high chair version of the fisher price cozy coupe..?

Sweet design, I know someone who'd woot this faster than you can say tofu.

This is my first Derby entry! I'm glad I finally got one posted!

I know it's disgustingly cute, but that's the point of this derby! Cute is the only way I can draw. One of my illustration teachers at art school said that because I was a girl I'd only ever be able to draw cute kitties and ponies, and well... you play to your strengths!

While the methods might be questionable, there is a reason why there's a hunt quota for seals every year. Rats of the oceans, plague of the seven seas!

Funny shirt though!

Neat combination of T design and then reusing it to make a soft toy down the track. I keep imagining this being a hit as a kids print and a bunch of parents finding shirts with holes cut in them. That's an image that gets my vote.

Re: Move Already...

Great shirt - hope it wins as I will need several as the sponsor of a high school chess club. Wish I could afford one for each member. I hope it will win and not be reckoned until after school starts so the students can buy their own!

bookworm656 wrote:Erm never mind... For some reason I can't edit my post. Weird. Anyway, I don't think spelling "a lot" as "alot" comes across as intentional, even though I know now (from reading the thread... *headpalm*) that it was intentional.

Did you try to edit your post in the derby thread? You should be able to edit it there.

I tried it with "a lot" first and it just looked weird spelled correctly given the silliness of the shirt. I plead artistic license on this one

Didn't know about that, but anyway I was praising for parody, not accusing of theft. I just wondered if it might get cut for "similar shirts exist"--but I hope not.

Teachers are always so wise.

I kind of like the unicorn on a cupcake thing. It's so far overboard with the cute, that it's kind of awesome.

long time buyer, first time poster.

I also have pet rabbits and have bought quite a few of the bunny themed shirts. And lunamadison is very correct that those cute little eyes are planning something.

I frequently joke with my sister that some of my rabbits would kill me in my sleep if they had the thumbs required to hold a knife. Rabbits, they can be shifty.

This shirt is not the same in theme as "you gotta try this". And ever since Killer Grail, killer bunnies is a pop culture joke. Get over it.

I have bought a bunch of Ramyb shirts, and I've bought a bunch from other artists as well. I for one, am happy that he's back.

If you don't like it, don't vote for it. Let Woot reject it.

Re: Move Already...

I like the shirt, however I think have a chess clock with lots of time left for the hare and not much left for the turtle along with an annoyed rabbit would have been better than the dialogue. but thats a personal preference
