The two arrows represent the forces, and their coloring is intended to emphasize their opposite nature.

EDIT: I chose optics as the aspect of physics that I wanted to represent. I created this design based entirely on the effects of light, specifically for this derby. I thought an underwater cave would be an interesting demonstration of that. Light and its properties are a significant area of study in physics.

Diving with Photons!

Black holes, natures light catchers. Nothing can escape the pull of a massive black hole. Not even light itself. As hard as a sun tries
to send his rays across the galaxy (even by trumpet), if one of these is blocking its path, its not going trough.

This is really funny, but I have a feeling it'll get rejected since typically numbers = text in the eyes of the rejectionator. I wish I could think of another way to suggest a zero that would work.

So, never (I said never!) mess with calculators, cause they know EXACTLY what to do when things get ugly.

This is a diagram of Descartes Theory of how a "Double Rainbow" forms.

Its actually a Primary and Secondary rainbow!


Because of our eyes, the secondary rainbow (the one on top)'s colors look flipped!

Obviously physics has a LOT to do with gravity. No explanation needed there! This shirt shows the desire to defy gravity even in the prehistoric age. :D This design was a set I did with "Defynig Gravity - Modern."

I was actually thinking about doing something with cats, balloons and static electricity for the Kawaii!!! derby. I think this is much better than anything I would have come up with. I agree that the cat's expression is just perfect.

Yeah, it's not part of the final design. I'm new to shirt woot, and I was using their template, which has got that box. I Thought they needed it. Is there any way to change your preview image once it's submitted?

Halftones came out a little weird on the image to the left (not the shirt's image). No clue why... maybe when I scaled it down. Here is another close up shot.

I love how she's shaded. Wish it were bigger though. Great as per usual.

Well, in my view that's not a design 'with text'.
It's a calculator, they are supposed to have numbers on them, right?
There's nothing like a bubble speech or anything... but i understand your comments, let's see what woot thinks.

The Doppler effect is "the change in frequency of a wave for an observer moving relative to the source of the wave." Obviously a scientist simply walking with a boom box would not provide the best audible example of the doppler effect, but realism is simply not the point of this design. ;D

Very well drawn, but it comes off as one of those designs where you give it a title to make it fit the theme, rather than designing for the theme.

I went back and forth on whether to to leave the smile or not. I ended up concluding that it added to the retro look.
