This shirt will be for sale again starting tomorrow--here--at $15. ALL shirts continue to be sold after the first day. A shirt will remain for sale (at $15) until reckoned.

To find out what shirts are available for sale on any given day--other than the obvious "shirt of the day" on the front shirt.woot page--please click on the "reckoning" link found in the top right corner of any shirt.woot page. All the shirt thumbnails in the reckoning are shirts that are still for sale. Click on the thumbnail or title and you will be taken to the shirt's order page.

Just in case people didn't catch the reference in this artists name, it is a reference to an old Scots ballad.

I agree totally, and am amazed that it sold out. Am now desperately trying to imagine any circumstances at which it would be appropriate to wear this shirt. Wait, let's all make a list: Really casual funerals. Philosophy conference. Car wash fundraiser of your school's Dead Poets Society. Burying the family cat. Little help here, people?

Wait, am I reading this the wrong way?

This shirt would have ROCKED if the final stages showed a Zombie uprising! (Guess it would have still sold out, probably faster, but same result. Oh well.)

Sober, absolutely.

Thought provoking? I can't agree. Comparing the stages of life to the four seasons is certainly nothing new, nor is the four seasons as a circle (or life as a circle. There's a song about that, doncha know). IMO there's not a whole lot more to be said here that the shirt hasn't already said

I think the shirt is great, but I would never buy it because of the crucifix gravestone. Couldn't you just go with a standard rounded headstone to get the death point across? The crucifix just says "Religion!!!!," and that's pretty ignorant. Oh wait, the designer is from Utah.

Seriously, let it go.....

Anyway, I wish the design had the couple growing old together and two gravestones. It would have been perfect.

Oh, ok. I didn't realize it was that simple. Thanks Dr. Phil. That's a great attitude to have. Good suggestion. I never thought of just looking the other way and letting the hillbillies have at it.

I was sad to tune in too late to get this design yesterday, but I'm buying today to wear it to my English class (the one I teach). I just covered the hero quest archetype, which also maps to seasonal archetypes, and whoever said they aren't new is absolutely right. My students will love this shirt!

I also teach a philosophy class, so you just about nailed the market for this shirt. Come to think of it, I ALSO have two cats...but thankfully neither of them is dead.

Received mine last Friday, this design looks really great printed on a shirt.

I really dig the vibrant colors and the silhouetted figures. Fantastic.

I do really like (why does it replace l o v e with "stab"?) this shirt! :D but i have to admit that it made me sad that the art displays a cemetary headstone in the winter...focusing on the death aspect of it...especially since i l o v e winter the most out of all seasons and it makes me happy!

but i still l o v e the shirt, so i bought it! ^^

Did you receive the shirt like this or are you asking about the drawing on the site?

shouldn't summer and fall be reversed
parents have kid kid gets old kid dies his kid meats lady at funeral etc.
-in less the kid sponed from the grave-Which would totally change the meaning of the shirt.

Bought the shirt and really like the design. Unfortunately, after one wash with Woolite in cold water and low tumble dry the shirt started to fade to a rusty pink color. Not the design, but the actual shirt. I washed with only other darks, no mixing in my washer. This was my second Woot shirt purchase, the other is completely fine after many washes. Just bought the Give a Hoot or Die shirt, hoping it is a solid shirt.
