May have considered it, but not when there is a far cooler Star Wars/Calvin & Hobbs shirt on www.teefury.com today.

Bad timing.

u mad?

wootleey wrote:This is a really terrible shirt. Probably the worst garbage to ever come out of Woot!. And its all because of the damn neckbeard userbase that have ruined every single derby for the past 2 years.

I think you're confusing the neckbeards with the tiny asian girls who push cutesy designs through on every derby, even the nerdier derbies like 'physics' and 'scientific method.' Thank god the neckbeards finally won this round. haters gone hate.

This design is logical otterific! Thank god I nabbed one last night. Congrats stardamsel! Fingers crossed for another print from you tomorrow.

What the hey. How come every time I REALLY love a shirt, it's sold out? The world hates me.

Clever, but, I cannot claim a TG pedigree, so, I'll pass....

Playing alot of poker, thats my favorite aspect of this shirt

Almost anyone who has recently been tortured by a Cardassian would say that, of course.

I'm so glad I got one at the introductory. If this falls out of the reckoning within 2 months, I swear I'll be astonished! The sellout didn't surprise me at all. Quite clever.

Oh wow I'm glad I stopped here to order my shirt before leaving for work. Seeing the sellout time, I would have missed it if I had waited until I arrived.
Glad to see this print. Congrats!

Steaming Mad wasn't the worst seller of the year, though. Not by a long shot. And seriously, if you think Star Wars/Star Trek is ever going to produce fewer than 1000 sales, you don't understand this sites quality rubric.

It might, however, tie with World Nom-ination for "most blatant copyright infringement to print in a derby".

Its a trap, yes. "Noooo" is not a meme.

It sure is. Not one that withstood the test of time, but looking at the usual internet fad-dy sites like YTMND at the time that movie came out, it was all over the place for a long time.

Love the inclusion of Four Aces, and two of the other characters make sense in that scene but I do not get the whole 'It's a Trap!' quote. I know it's the quote but it doesn't make sense to have it in this scene.

Staxeon wrote:Maybe he thinks Picard is bluffing.

I'm guessing someone's posted this already, but if not: a trap is actually the opposite of a bluff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trap_(poker)

It works on _multiple_ levels.

Saw this when it came up last night. I'm a HUGE TNG fan, but had to pass on this. I think it would make a better poster than a t-shirt, and c'mon, Picard hardly ever played poker!

Congrats to the designer on the sellout though!

I'm liking the OAR ref more than the shirt. Weird that out of the 5 pages of comments there were only 7 or 8 mentions of the band/song.
