Probably one of the most detailed designs I've worked on in a while, but it was really fun. There's A LOT of beautiful entries this week, I was almost afraid to enter. I'll post some close ups later. Thanks in advance for looking/commenting/voting!

Very artsy and cool, but this looks to me like it might be more than 6 colors? I like the combination of harsh angles and soft curves though.

Hahaha. Looks nice, not sure if the strand of hair in her face detracts from the picture or not, but it sure stands out a lot, even from a distance.

I agree, the strand of hair almost looks like a scar from far away, perhaps if it were more orange like most of her hair is it wouldn't stand out so much.

So simple and yet so creative

i would have liked this a lot more if the color part was bigger and the tree/tree trunk was smaller. right now you have a long trunk but the color part looks cut off or squashed.

I would ask if you saw the drawing in the pre-derby thread and thought that or was this version the first you saw? I ask because that was my only problem with the original line art but I made changes to it. I made her face bigger, shoulders less broad, slimmed her arms down, shortened her left forearm and a few other details. I think I did everything I could to make her feminine without changing the fact that she's got branches.

Evidently Adder has a short memory. For quite a while, Woot would reject entries that had obvious round objects in the chestal (sic)area for the reasons the females in this thread have made clear. I do not think this design should be rejected though. It has nothing to do with maturity; it is more a matter of taste and class.

I agree with Adder that this design is quite lovely and I would like to see more from this artist but please be more attentive to the female form next time ;-).

Is this on Khaki or Olive or whatever that dark, muddy greenish colour is, or is it on Brown? Please let me know, as I love this shirt - no surprise - but REALLY can't pull off the muddy dark green background.

I agree with Adder, we need more from you and others like you (Weird, you lissenin'?).
Still, though I wouldn't wear ANY Woot shirt if I was afraid of the attention to my chest, it is best not to virtually hang out a sign, so to speak. But, a slight change in size and/or placement would solve that easily enough.

Lovely and sweet, and GMV.
The fox is a bit off to me - the position of the torso/haunches says he's standing, but the lower legs say sitting. The end result is he's kindof hovering between for me. Just my 2-cents and +1.

I was ready to comment that this didn't need changes, then I clicked on it and saw that change is good. My only quiblle is it's awfully large and low on the shirt.
