I've had to do that with political support shirts in the past, but I have a feeling this one would be more likely to get laughs than admonishment.

Seriously, though... The guy behind this message is another drain on society, and I hope anyone that buys it only wears it as a joke (if at all). If the rent is really too high, then do what your parents did: Get a second / better job or get a less expensive home. Don't let the government pay for it. Your freedom will be the hidden cost.

"Damned" is mostly used in North America. The rest of the English speaking world uses "damn".
