This shirt would have been better if it were brown. Then it could have helped cover up all of the mud the No No'ers are slinging at the Yes No'ers.

If the INDECISIVE SOCIETY OF AMERICANS FOR ENTROPY are so indecisive, how can they be "for" entropy? Especially enough to pay for the message? Something's not quite right here, I just can't decide what it is.

So does that mean the No No'ers are actually Yes Yes'ers and the Yes No'ers are actually No No'ers? Are there any real Knowers?

This made me laugh. I totally would have bought this during my days of campus politics. But they should have sold this with more lead time before the elections...

On another note, anybody who missed the Krampus shirt should head to teefury.com -- less than 22 hours left.

You people at Woot are soo cool!

YES! And you got it great in the "wear this shirt" part.

The best classic prog band EVER. For me the best album is Close To The Edge! I really do enjoy Tales From Topographic Oceans though, which is a love or hate album between fans.

It's a crime that Anderson isn't in the band anymore.

Love the write up.

I actually saw a bunch of little signs that said this in someone's yard during election season over a decade ago. The kids of the house had drawn them by hand, and they said "VOTE YES ON NO" and "VOTE NO ON YES."

I thought it was cute and clever for kids, but not quite clever enough to wear on a T-shirt, unfortunately.

Funny, I saw a large sign, looked rather official, of something very similar. I found it hilarious ... I have a pic of me somewhere in front of it. :-)

On the fence about the shirt tho.

Whoa! Thanks wiki.

Or he was probably referencing the word entropy in the form "In information theory, entropy is a measure of the uncertainty associated with a random variable. The term by itself in this context usually refers to the Shannon entropy, which quantifies, in the sense of an expected value, the information contained in a message, usually in units such as bits. Equivalently, the Shannon entropy is a measure of the average information content one is missing when one does not know the value of the random variable. The concept was introduced by Claude E. Shannon in his 1948 paper "A Mathematical Theory of Communication".
Shannon's entropy represents an absolute limit on the best possible lossless compression of any communication, under certain constraints: treating messages to be encoded as a sequence of independent and identically-distributed random variables, Shannon's source coding theorem shows that, in the limit, the average length of the shortest possible representation to encode the messages in a given alphabet is their entropy divided by the logarithm of the number of symbols in the target alphabet.
A fair coin has an entropy of one bit. However, if the coin is not fair, then the uncertainty is lower (if asked to bet on the next outcome, we would bet preferentially on the most frequent result), and thus the Shannon entropy is lower. Mathematically, a coin flip is an example of a Bernoulli trial, and its entropy is given by the binary entropy function. A long string of repeating characters has an entropy rate of 0, since every character is predictable. The entropy rate of English text is between 1.0 and 1.5 bits per letter,[1] or as low as 0.6 to 1.3 bits per letter, according to estimates by Shannon based on human experiments.[2]"

Once again thanks wikiP
