As for ThatRobert's and OdysseyRoc's composition comments- tried it with a shirt full of text, but it looked kind of weird since the hot dog is standing on a surface. as someone said before, this shirt is clever but too subtle. many people won't take time to read through the ingredients, and even if they scan it chances are they won't see the really funny ones like "this one thing we found."

also, it probably would have taken me a while to understand that the hot dog was going through an identity crisis if i didnt see the caption. it might a good idea to have a thought bubble exclaiming "what am I?" or something like that, as someone previously also pointed out.

either that, or have the hot dog actually look at the ingredient list with a confused look - this might better convey a sense of identity loss.

Maybe I'm just biased b/c it's fogged and I don't want it to lose momentum, but I dig the timing of the way this design is read, and I'd hate to mess that up. Its subtlety is part of the payoff.

Loosely defended by tip #7 in Billy Wilder's 10 tips for writers: "A tip from Lubitsch: Let the audience add up two plus two. They’ll love you forever."

Otherwise it's more Carrot Top and less Joel Hodgson. Of course Carrot Top was sort of funny and is probably really, really rich.

Wow, I was super excited about this submission. I cannot tell how disappointed I am with its performance. If anyone happens to see this post, I'd love for some feedback as to what happened here? Is it just subpar? did I put too much in the comp file? Is the detail pic that is on the main voting page not descriptive enough?
